Driven Sports Lean Xtream & Adrenalean Stack (Sponsored By Predator Nutrition) - 01 November 2009 20:45
Guys I have been lucky enough to be selected by Predator Nutrition to run the Driven Sports stack.
These products are both new to me so Iv had a quick read up on them and so far have found out:

Lean Xtream
This contains a prop blend 395mg of:

Green Tea Extract 50% (EGCG) – this help keep the immune system strong which IMO is important whilst cutting as lower cals and additional cardio will put your body under pressure. This im sure is as a result of the absorbic acid it contains (or Vit C to you and me). Its also said to increase fat oxidisation/loss.

Coleus Forskohlii (40% Forskolin), - this increases blood flow due to its vasodilator properties. It increases test and helps weight loss leaning you out. It also improves the levels of camp which is a signal carrier.

5-AT (7-Hydroxy 17B-Dihydro Dehydroepiandrosterone ), I only found a small amount of info on this saying it supports the thyroid and lower stress levels – this has a knock on effect to cortisal control which again helps with fat loss

7OH (7-Hydroxy-Dehydroepiandrosterone) – from what I can tell this is similar to DHEA but is said to be more effective. DHEA is a natural PH produced by the adrenal gland (autocrine mechanisum- not sure what this is). From my reading this is a precursor to androstenedione, test and estrogen??? 7 - Keto is claimed to be safer as it does not convert to test or estrogens but I can not find out what this means for 7OH in this product? Also I don’t know if this would be safe for a woman to use either?

This is a non stim based product so I will be dosing this throughout the day.

Overall all the ingredients look promising and I’m hoping good synergy between them will help shed some fat.

Adrenalean

I have found contradicting information on the ingredients for this product, which is a little strange but this could just be different websites calling ingredients different things.

Anyhow going from Preds site:

Euphpramine prop blend of 710mg:

Phenylethylamine – mainly a stimulant. But also a good mood supporter and helps with weight loss. This is also found in foods like chocolate so Im assuming that the feel good factor of eating such foods is what this will make you feel. However this usually does not survive the first pass and so significant concentrations reaching the brain which leads me to the next ingredient…………

Quercitin – This has many uses but the main ones I think its found itsway into this product are its ability to inhibit CYP3A4, WHICH ARE THE ENZYMES THAT BREAK DOWN MOST DRUGS IN THE BODY. This would in theory allow more of the above ingredient to survive thus making it useful. This also has a strong antioxidant activity and Vit C sparing abilities.

Hordinine – I stuggeled on this one… Its linked to Phenylethylamine and found in cactuses.

Methylarecaiden – found in the fruit of palm trees it appreas to be another mood enhancer and stimulant.

L-Huperzine A – A natural plant extract that boosts memory, learning and focus. Focus will be the most important one here normally but I will be sitting some exams later in the month so fingers cross this maybe an added aid for me lol!!!!

EvoSyn Prop blend 300mg:

Caffeine Anhydrous – we all know this one, energy and appetite surpression.

Evodiamine – This chemical has been shown to reduce fat uptake in mouse studies but I don’t think it has been proven in humans.

Synephrine HCL – Stimulant derived from Citrus Aurantium and a common substitute for Ephedrine. It is very similar to Ephedrine in composition and is also found in some cold and flu medicines and weight loss products which contain Ma Huang. It is thought to have the same energy boosting, appetite suppressing and increasing your metabolic rate in the same way caffeine does.

Overall again this looks to be a very good product with select ingredients in it helping appetite suppression, energy and increased focus.

If anyone has any further info on the ingredients that iv missed out or have struggled to find out post it up guys as I will be interested in reading it.

Other than that I will start these supps as soon as I receive them and start giving feed back on them as soon as I do.

Cheers mate.

Just been doing a little more reading and remembered X-lean contained a derivative of DHEA (7-Beta-Hydroxy-DHEA).

So Im hoping it will have the same Cortisal control properties X-Lean has. I remember using it last time during PCT and I really leaned out on it.

Re:Driven Sports Lean Xtream & Adrenalean Stack (Sponsored By Predator Nutrition) - 07 November 2009 16:29
Guys I got my supps this morning and will report day one in a min.

Pred thanks for the I force Nutrition Maximize Pre work out drink sample. Im gona keep that for a nice weight training day I think. But the Geranamine and Phenylethylamine I will use for a am sscv session as I suspect it will be pretty strong lol!!!!

Again thanks for selecting me to try these I am really chuffed.

Start off stats are:

BF 23.68% bf  this is taken using BF callipers.

Weight 16 stone 2lb

I will mark body part measurements tomorrow when the other half is back.

I have got a few pics today although Im looking out of shape right now I will post them up as soon as I can find the cable to link my camera to the laptop…….

This should serve as good motivation and an indicator of how well these supps work for me.

Roll on the next few weeks and lets see if I can drop BF down under the 20% mark using these supps.

General

Comments are I am truly impressed with this stack already lol!!!!

I felt full of energy this morning to about the right level for me i.e. not as strong as ECA or Adrenalin but strong enough to give you loads of energy that seemed to last for around 3-4 hours.

Im planning on trying the Adrenalean pre skipping to see how I get on with it as I get the impression from this morning I will not gas too quickly using it and should be useful for slightly more intensive cardio.

I have genuinely felt good all day on them and more importantly for me it has help curb my hunger thank f*ck…….. The last week has been a killer for me regarding hunger and so it was a welcomed change to not feel so hungry today. I can not liken the effectiveness of the hunger curbing to anything else I have tried todate, huuummmm maybe RPM, that was kinda similar IIRC. Again it feels kinda middle ground which is good. ECA can kill my hunger completely for a number of hours and other supps like Stimulatn X don’t really curb it all. This makes you not feel hungry but allows you to eat i.e. this morning I was able to eat a small breakfast of 4 weetabix with no worries, an hour after taking them. But I managed to get till lunch time with not one hunger pang in site but was able to eat again and I am just about getting hungry now so very effective indeed.

I thought I would note down my thoughts on them now so I have something to compare them to at the end of the review as its easy to forget how they effected you to start with.

So in conclusion Im happy they are powerful enough for what I want but not over the top to prevent me from training how I want to.

Glad you got a good start to the cycle Taz. I would pay attention to the leaning out around the midsection. That is one area I notice this stack works well on (although I was taking alphaburn as well).

2x10 leg raises

5x 1 minutes of skipping - taking around 30-50 sec break inbetween

General

Good session today, very pleased with it as got plenty of cardio in.

Abbs were great today, I really felt them burning.

Skipping is something I have not done for some time and so my arms were aching like help by the latter sets. Im hoping to pick this up twice a week from now on.

Overal feeling positive and tbh Im not sure if its the pills or what lol!!!!

But unfotunatley today the hunger has started to get me again by around 10 am ish which is annoying. Iv either got used to its effects or the pills are pushing me more over the cal burning threashold making me hungrey.  Fingers crossed its the latter and Ill see good results.

Pred do you think I would benifit from dosing Lean Xtream at 4 caps ed taking 2 within say 3 hours of each other in the morning?

3 x 10 Overhead extensions 10kg
4 x 10 Bench 60kg

General

Missed the am cardio this morning as absolutely knackered doh!!!!!!

Also been hungry as hell again all day so I think this stack has def just kicked me over the cal deficit meaning I should be burning the fat.

I was thinking of taking 2 extra Adrenalean caps at lunch to help curb it a little but been worried about getting enough sleep for work. But seeing as I have Friday off Im gona give it a go tomorrow so will report back. As you can see I have also bumped the Lean Extream to 4 caps ed now to help things along.

I got some nice light weights in today ontop of cardio which was good so overall fairly happy.

60,35,28 sit ups

General

Did not manage to get up again today, I must need to catch up on rest as been flat out with work etc.

I enjoyed the interval training today as the first time in a long time that I have done it. Im planning on building on this to get my fitness back upto scratch.

Sit-ups I went for as many as I could took 30 secs break and repeated hence why the numbers decreased lol!!

Still hungry as hell but I feel super positive still so defo attributing this to the stack.

Get back into the K-b mate, trying to get my lad to restart his karate again after 5 months out, due to a nasty virus. He's 9 years old and a brown/red belt, so  brown/black  and then black belt, he's been doing karate since he was 5 years old. He's also a full green belt at ju-jitsu, he loves martial arts, just hope he keeps it up.

Diet been a little crappy today as cakes, etc were brought into work…….. Also we will see the same on this Friday doh!!!!!

Anyway I loved todays HIIT, it was not unbearable or super intense as I was trying to get some focus on my legs and lower back. It felt good and I was breathing heavily and my legs felt a little jellified during the sscv.

Seems to be working very nicely mate. If it carries on like this I think I may well be ordering some for what I anticipate will be a New Year cut.

3x20 sit ups
2x10 leg rasies
2x10 oblique raises on both sides
60 seconds bridge
20 sit up rows( no idea what these are called but basically I do a sit up with my legs out flat 6 inchs off the floor and as I do the sit up I pull my knees into my chest)

Good session today considering I have been stuyding all day.

Happy with cardio I got done today and loved the abbs work out. I felt I could have done more to be honest but time was pressing. Looking to do some decent HIIT again tomorrow. Thinking of the skipping variation which I plan on doing 10 mins after taking the Adrenalean to see if it makes me gas or not.

30mins am cardio, HIIT pm which consited of:

1min 30 secs bag work 30 secs break followed by
1 min 30 secs skipping 30 seconds break and then repeated 3 times

This means I did a total of 9 mins in full gear with only 2 mins rest time which is not too bad.

After the above I did 1 hour pm
 sscv to warm down.

Good training session today, I was to put it bluntly breathing out my ass after the HIIT session lol!!!! I really enjoyed it using varrying punch combos including a few kicks. I also varried the skipping, slow high jumps with smaller fast jumping and the normal average skipping.

I could possibley have gone for one more bag and skipping session but was happy with the above.

Planning on some high rep weights tomorrow to get the muscles working.

The Adrenalean did not make me gas early so nice addition from that point of view and feel it gave me a nice surge of energy keeping me focused.

Seems to be going well still for ya mate? Good to see some weights in the pipeline too. Have just got a pair of sparring gloves myself as they have 2 or 3 bags in my gym so have decided to give that a try myself.
I can't recall what forum it was but I threw one little c.unt into a sentence and you'd have thought I'd bummed one of their grandmas

Ya Im looking forward to getting back to lifting tbh as been too long.

As for the gloves I dont use any on the bag atm (not going for all out power yet)but to start off with it would be a good idea. I remember the first time I sarted to use a punch bag I kept spliting my knuckles and I had blood splatters all over it lol!!!

I was young and thought it was cool............ Tw*t....

Anyway press ups on your knuckles will also toughen your fists up nicley so your nerves are dead like mine lol!!!

Good to see this combo produce the results I would expect of a fat loss stack which covers more than one metabolic pathway...now, I wish you had asked for..

Lol, I actually have a bottle of that stuff lying around. If I'd known I was gonna see that pic I would have paid you to take it;)

Seriously, good work so far and try to avoid the cake!
