Hi all!

New user...

I used to be a big swimmer and lost 3st but found that it wasn't working on more specific areas any more so I joined my local gym. I am absolutely loving it and any advice would be welcome.

My details so far are
Age - 28
Height - 5'3"
Weight - 64 kg (i think)
Stats - 34", 28" 35.5"  (my user name is the figure I'm working towards!!)

At the moment I mix cardio on the treadmill and rowing machine with arm, ab and leg workout about 4 times a week and it takes me about an hour and a half. I have cut down on carbs as much as i realistically can and am wondering whether to enter the work of proteins shakes etc? I started out interested in losing the lumps and bumps but am wondering whether a bit more of a defined shape would be more rewarding?

Thanks for reading all that!

Hi there,

Welcome to MT.  So are you looking to get a bit more of a shapely physique then?  As from your stats I would guess that you're not carrying too much extra fat.

What is your routine like for your workouts? Do you use the resistance machines, free weights etc?
