 The WINTER GIANTS '09 STRONGMAN COMPETITION is on December 13th at the Hyndburn Leisure Center, Accrington Lancs. There will be the top 4 Brits, Mark Felix, Terry Hollands (TEAM MUSCLETALK!), Jimmy Marku, Laurence Shahlaei and this will be their only chance to compete against each other this year. Along with many other top level competitors! More details to follow...........

Could be the best show of the year.
There are a few tickets still available via Marks Facebook but I'd not waste any time getting them while you can.
Should be loads of MT'ers there including myself.

Big thankyou to all sponsor's, including Muscletalk, The event will be filmed by leonine productions, available for dvd. The competition will last 3 hour's and will be your only chance this year to see Terry, Loz , Jimmy & Felix compete against each other. Few tickets still remianing with 3 weeks to go.

Quickie update: Winter Giants's has sold out, 400 tickets paid for, thanks for showing your support. Anyone not able top get tickets , the event will be filmed and available to buy on DVD by Leonine productions.

6ft 5", approx 22 stone. Lancashire Strongman Champions competition went great, now time to see if I can qualify for ESM!

It was a good event - and good to see a few MTers there.
The PA system was crap though - I couldn't hear a word the comentator was saying, which did ruin it a lot as we didn't know times and who placed where in which event. Next time, they need a proper PA system and not using the tannoy speakers of the hall.

Nah, that was for their stone run mate. Top 4 were: Mark Felix Alex Curletto Loz Shahlaei Jimmy Marku Was a great day, nice to catch up with a few guys I've not seen in a while, Jimmy, Spencer, Rob and also great to meet a few guys who I've been speaking to for a while, the likes of Loz and Terry. Comp ran pretty smoothly, aye a few wee hick ups, but nothing major and what comp doesn't have a few minor problems?! Most impressive thing of the day for me was Loz and Alex's stone run; 5stone run ending in 180kg for Loz in 15seconds?! Few pics of mine:
