totally loving this stuff.....Like everyone says, love the gradual, but really quality gains.  I was doing cutting but somehow turned into lean mass bulking, which is totally fine with me....so my question is, I have been taking 40mg 40mg in the AM and at night for 12 weeks, but can I go longer than 16 weeks with less does?  I know HIV patients take this for an extended period time without issues, but would like to know what we can gain from lowering dose and extend the cycle.  Or do you recommend cutting off completely after 16 weeks?

Get blood tests done and use the results to dictate your decision.

Not really. Most docotors would say you're jeapordising your health, come off steroids and never take them again.

How can anyone possibly give you an informed reccomendation on whether to come off or not?

I really DO appreciate what you mean All4n.  But after all, we are talking about in this forum is illegal substance that cannot be prescribed.  Majority of people who take AAS do not count on medical check ups (which is obviously very bad) but on other people's experience etc.   People are not supposed to get informed recommendation in this forum like they would by medical experts, but all they expect to get in here is experience of other people one has to listen to with caution.

I would do 4 more weeks and then come off.

16 weeks is long enough to be running any oral even var imo.

AAS arn't illegal. They are legal to possess but illegal to supply.

A lot of people don't get blood tests, but many do. There are free clinics set up now various places allowing for free health check ups. They check various blood levels including liver/kidney function which was what i was hinting at to get checked in order to decide whether to continue or not.

My point is mate, there's a difference to someone reccomending whether to stay on an oral for 16 weeks+ compared to reccomend for example 500mg test e for a first cycle. I won't argue against you asking for advice, after all, that#s what the forum is for, but my advice was to get bloods done. Valid advice imo, don't you agree? Everyone is different to how their body reacts to certain AAS, including toxicity of orals which, by the way, i believe to be hugely overstated for the large part. From what i have seen, yes it should be fine to stay on var for 16+ weeks, but that's not to say you won't be causing some harm as obviously no one can be sure. Bloods take the guess work out of things

As said before get blood work done, var doesnt effect LFT that much but lipids can take a hammering when run for long periods.
