TheGunslinger

Obviously harder on some maps than others, but the open ground one in the snow and the map with the tunnels that you can take which will lead you to any flag are easy money.

Sounds like it is quite easy on the xBox then.

Try doing it on the PC - a lot harder. Im quite good at FPS, played for a long time on the PC platform, however getting a nuke on MW2 is rather hard.

i've been looking at the glitch videos on youtube and it seems that the glitches that are on the xbox aren't on the PS3 as i can't re-create alot of them.

this game has infuriated me all weekend lol

i cannot for the life of me string 3 kills together?!!!
people are so hyped up with bling and perks that they so much as fart near me and i die!

i've been nuked, shot from gunships and harrier jump jets yet i can barely call for a support package without being killed before collecting it

Any hints?
i''m lvl 23, around 10 hours its taken to get that far over 2 days.

grrrrr

Use the class that's got the little machine gun with a red dot sight on it, run around like buggery, and shoot folk. That's all really...

You need to learn where you should and shouldn't be, this takes time, and actually changes as people get used to different positions.

I got a few things today that I hadn't done before, managed 3 kills whilst injured, got a new title and a bunch of points for that

What gun are you using and what perks IB?
As I said before just stick with it, don't forget that most of the people you are playing against have been playing it for days and they know where to go on the maps and where people like you who are new to the game will be.

Heartbeat sensor, lame

It just takes time and practice more than anything to figure out what perks and weapons best suit your playing style. No point having marathon and lightweight if you're playing a snipers game, nor would you have sniper perks if you play a run and gun approach.

Reactions are probably more important than anything - IIRC i'm about 30 something after the first prestige but i've not played in a few months, when i go back to it i'll be utter shat for a week or two just getting them back!

My girlfriends sounds better than you IB lol. She's called in quite a few harrier strikes.

Until you learn the maps well I'd stick a silencer on your Scar. Set Care package, pred missile and harriers for now. Once you have the care package just camp somewhere.

Ditch that HB Sensor!

I play hardcore but I usually use an assault rifle with:

Sleight of Hand
Cold Blooded
Ninja

care package
predator missile
emergency airdrop

Disagree. On the smaller maps having sprint and marathon pro combined with a small machine gun gives you a massive advantage with pace, etc. Very easy to peg it round the map taking folk out on the way. Even works well on some of the larger maps. If you can bounce between spawn points you can rack up a good score very easily.

As and when he unlocks more perks/weapons he wants to use, this would be my way forward, it was how I levelled up again after starting prestige

If you have just started playing and you don't know the maps or have a clue where you're going then the last thing you want to be doing is running anywhere, my advice would be forget you even have the sprint button until you know the maps completely.

As you get better and know the maps then feel free to run and gun but this is certainly not good advice for a beginner.

No offence mate but I've just checked your K/D ratio and I don't think you should be advising anyone

lol, the lag excuse

I know what you mean mate the lag can be a nightmare. How many green bars do you get on your connection? What was you ping time? Mines awful, around 100 - 150 last time I checked and I get between 2 and 3 green bars.

Varies - playing americans it can be just 1 bar, europeans it can go up to 4 green, but I'm usually stuck playing the yanks. It's when you empty an entire clip into someone and they still kill you, and their killcam shows you just standing there, no bullets spitting... makes me mad!

Re:MODERN Warfare II - 22 March 2010 08:04
ok, kinda went with tony on this one...missus was on the laptop so i jumped on the xbox last night

Used the UPMG with rapid fire (or whatever its called the smg)
Marathon perk
Killstreak reward reducing perk
Hipshot accuracy perk

I ruled last night PMSL..... top 3 in around 80% of the games i played for 2 hours and even won a few too!

Run n gun baby.

On the quarry level it is so frikkin easy to pick people off who try and sneak. I just do one big ass lap of the building area and you pick off:
*care package collecters + their crate by the back area
*people who lurk in the offices
*people who respawn there

Learnt a lesson though:
Never try and run to a guy to knife him from the front. Even a few feet = death

You die every time lol

Wait till you start coming up against the marathon/lightweight/commando perks with a tactical knife pistol.

You'll soon find out it can be done, much to your frustration

I walk up and kill them both

Commando is a nightmare, getting stabbed from 10 foot away is no fun at all!

I was playing against two yanks a couple of weeks ago and between them they must of stabbed me 15 - 20 times in one game, nearly put the controller through the tv screen lol

Nicely - glad it worked for you!

Defo use commando, it's essential IMO, I just leap around maps - always fun when you're free falling from a building shooting someone on way down

Yeah, just lots of kills. Then once you've got it you need to get lots of bullet penetration kills too. PITA

That said there's a good one where you use bullet penetration to shoot a claymore through a wall, and kill a bad guy standing there. I used to use sitrep and do this from time to time, really funny way of getting someone!

Cold blooded is great for sneaking around with when they have a UAV go up. I have 1 man army set up so that I've got a couple of cold blooded classes, once their UAV is online, i ghost myself and go hunting. Also means you can just walk up to turrets and smash them, and helicopters/jets/etc can't see you to shoot you.

Ninja I'm less arsed about, always found commando more useful. Just a case of playing until you've leveled up enough to unlock it.
