    Depends on what your idea of stupidly expensive is... you pretty much get what you pay for.

    Will handle 1000lbs, pretty damn strong for a home use bench... if you are looking for something bigger/better then you're looking at commercial grade benches, which are stupidly expensive.

        Flat, when I say not stupidly expensive I mean I don't really want to pay a grand. I want something future proof so I'd never need a stronger bench no matter what, around 1500 lbs say.
