diabetic type 1 looking for some help about steriods please????

hows things lads im new from ireland

been training the last 1.5 - 2 years and properly the last few months

im 23 and a type 1 diabetic for near 21 years

i take 4 injections a day 1 long lasting and one morning lunch and evening.
never have hypo's and look after myself

im 13'2-13'4 stone about 83kg or so
im 5ft 10
biceps 15'' with goal of 17'' +

my goal is to get to about 14.5 to 15 stone of lean muscle

now i have noticed some good differences over the last wile in my size but i want to add alot more

train 5-6 times a week

chest-biceps
shoulders-triceps
legs-squats etc
back-deadlifts etc
mix up abs and neck with the above

now i have been thinking alot lately about trying steriods but im trying to convince myself against it but want some advice like side effects problems down the line with health etc

being a diabetic id probably be more vunerable than the rest of you but would that be true?

i want to try a few cycles but unsure if injecting or tablets is way to go or to keep natural??

have a good diet and trying to bulk so eat every 2 hours

take :
bsn true mass
gaspari size on creatine
no explode every so often


any opinions??????

Your mad to even think about steroid use with diabetes.

You say you never hypo, does that mean your levels are running consistently high?

Steroid use will will effect your HDL and LDL levels,will decrease circulatory activity and increase blood pressure. All which are mainstays of good diabetic control.

Not only that, you'ld might get a mouthful off the diabetic care team, as the steroids would manifest itself in your blood tests.

BTW I think that drug use would also interfere with your insulin sensitivity and glucose/insulin ratios

Even if you weren't diabetic, using gear at this point would be daft. You have got years of natural training and growth ahead of you.

as above i dont want to worsen the control of my diabetes anymore or put it at risk hence why im looking for advice and opinions

is it possible to reach my goal of 14.5 to max 15 stone of lean muscle with the use of anything except creatine and protein shakes??

will sticking to my diet with heavy weights and good rest work?

any pointers or tips?

oh and ment that my bloods never go extremely low were i end up passed out on the floor and they never stay very high try keep them between 5-9 on my meteor 6 being perfect but every now and again have a slip up as im not perfect

also why do some bodybuilders take extra insulin as a benefit and could i use it to help in anyway?

I believe they use insulin to deliver more nutrients to the muscles after workouts, not advisable for diabetics or indeed most healthy individuals.

going to go hard at the training now and bulk up stick to my superpump250 sixe on and true mass for the minute but just want info on diabetics and steroids
