Hows this diet look? 13 November 2009 17:49 (permalink)
Hi guys some advice please.

I weigh 14 st 8 lbs and i'm looking to build some lean muscle while stripping some fat off here is my diet

Breakfast - 4 whole eggs, scrabbled + 2 slices of seeded batch bread
mid morning - protrin shake
lunch - tuna or chicken salad,  pitta bread an a low fat yoghurt
mid afternoon - protein shake
evening meal - chicken or fish or steak with either rice or baked potatoe plus veg

Pre workout is a banana, black coffee and a pro shot (ready to drink protein)

If i need to snack i usually have some wallnuts + brazil nuts or a cereal bar or fruit

I worked out i'm consuming around 2000 calories, 190g of protein, 160g of carbs 75g of fat.

Is this any good? should i drop something or add something? Any advice would be greatfully recieved

Cheers
Mick

If you are looking to lean - i would ditch the nuts and cereal bar.

and of course portion size is important :)

and I would be looking to take fat down to about 1/2 of where it is now!

      Cheers Les

I think most of the fat is coming from the whole eggs!! I'll start to use egg whites instead of whole eggs. I'll drop the nuts and cerreal bars too.

Apart from that does everything look ok?
