Well done!

Thank you,  funnily enough when I train alone my bench is only 170.

My point being what is the point of having a spotted bench PB?

So being spotted adds 130KG to your bench Tony?

I think you've missed my point Reborn.

The majority of posters on here and or normal gym goers will say "spotted bench" meaning they had some assistance from their spotter not that they merely had spotters there incase the lift goes tits up.

yes 45kg dumbells i lift one up in the air b my self then my friend pass me the other he stands behinde me tho just in case i struggle

with benching i find just having someone there with there hand under the bar helps me a lot they dont lift it, its all in my head and for some reason you can do better when someone just stands there with there hand under it

sorry if i dont make sense somtimes lol an my dead lits and sqauts r very poor am working on them big time

As said squats and deads are not up to your Bench and DB press which for a 13 stone natty are very good.

Yeah, but I don't do regular bench that often and not maxed in a year so no idea what my normal grip max bench would be.

Ok, gotcha.

But surely if thats the case a "spotted" bench isn't a bench at all?
