Injection Pain
-
15 November 2009 23:04
I never used to feel the needle going in but recently it has started to kill when I push it in. Only ever done a 6 week (2x week) and just started a 14 week (2x week). I'm in about week 3. Surely this can't be scar tissue?

It could be. My glutes get rhino skin after a couple of weeks. I have never had problems with delts. Can I ask why you dont try other sites?

Never really tried it just always stuck with delts. Just done a jab and it was really hard to get the pin in. When I pulled it out it felt like the rest of my arm was going to come out too. I think it is time to open up a new site but, SUST.... OUCH!!

if you only use 2 sites (LH/RH delt) then you will get a build up of scar tissue depending on the length of your cycle. you need to start jabbing your glutes to give you 2 more sites to rotate mate, your shoulders will soon become knotted with scar tissue and it will become increasingly painful/hard to jab into them think long term.

Id go for the quads. Just do it sitting down so the muscle is more relaxed. Im going to condradict myself from a thread last week and recommend you use green pins. I have been using blues recently and getting horrendous PIP. I think Im not getting far enough into the muscle and the oil is not dispersing properly.
