Cynostane cut
16 November 2009 13:44
( permalink)
I am going to run a cut on cynostane for 1 month. My cycle is planned as below: 1 month: Cynostane 30mg ED I won't be taking any support supps during the cycle but will keep up the usual - multivit, fish oils, glucosamine. PCT will be standard nolva along with zma and 11 test. May add creatine in here too. As mentioned the plan is to cut, so I'll be doing copious amounts of cardio! The cardio will be a combination of steady state on bike, bodyweight circuits, sprints, etc. Diet will be just below maintenance, with the cardio increasing the deficit. Sound ok?

I would not expect ZMA to be of much benefit unless deficient in zinc and would prefer to see a cortisol blocker post cycle as well. Other than that I would say this will be a good test for cynostane. From reading the logs so far most people are getting results with an absence of side effects so you can probably afford not to use liver support unless you are particularly worried. Only other thing to say is I would look to double protein intake while on, reducing cals from fats and carbs to compensate. Time to eat up the chicken tikka mate;)

Reggie, I've got 11-test in there which would suffice as a cortisol blocker, no? ZMA is only really there as I got it free with an order. Chicken tikka, I like it! Any excuse to eat more meat/fish/eggs is fine by me! Hows your cut going? Are you doing a lot of cardio with it or just letting the compound work its magic?

11-test is more for test boosting rather than cortisol. I don't think it would have any impact on cortisol really. As for my cut, it is not really a cut but a recomposition. It is hard work when I work next door to Nando's and have protein bars all around me but I am putting myself on a salad and chicken diet pretty much with just the odd protein bar added. Not very balanced! One thing I have noticed with cynostane (was on 20mg for 6 days which for a guy with my background was probably too low so on 30mg now for the last 3 days) is it has a complete absence of negative effects and sex drive is up a lot more so yeah I have been doing extra "cardio";)

Looks like Reggie is enjoying his HIT then!! Is it worth adding in something on cycle to aid fat loss? ECA perhaps? Or even just green tea tabs?

I would not use anything on cycle to burn fat other than an appetite suppressing compound. The reason is that appetite can go up considerably on anabolics.

Hello I have some 'Fast action' 11 test that i was going to use on my Epi PCT. It says it will act as a cortisol blocker? I was going to run this alongside Nolva? Does this 11 test act as test booster then, is it any good?

Most prohormones could technically be classed as cortisol reducing supplements but of course I would not suggest they be used during PCT. Ingredients to look for would be 7-OH, 5-AT as these are the ones most noted to lower cortisol.

11-test is not a test booster! It is a steroid, which is produced by the adrenal glands. It does indeed work to Directly reduce cortisol, even whilst at a small dose. The chap who bought it onto the market (Patrick Arnold) suggests that even 200mg a day can be used with next-to-no supression

Yep as a prohormone 11-test would suppress cortisol but then so would cynostane..You can see what we are saying Captain, which is that taking somethign in PCT which acts to suppress testosterone makes little sense. Personally, I doubt you can find a dose where it would lower cortisol but not testosterone. That is not how androgens work. As indicated to you before, you want to look elsewhere in this regard.

Cynostane would do so indirectly, 11-test would do so directly. Most steroids will reduce cortisol to some degree
