Hi all, i am trying my hardest to get the ideal body as we all are!
i train etleast 5 times a week and am getting my size strengh but have hardly any definition.
i have now started doing the correct cardio and drinking the right amount of water but my diet is poxy.
People keep telling me about callories and stuff but it makes no sense to me and was wondering if someone could help by spelling out a good diet plan.

    Post up diet please and then you can get some advice based on what you do.

    Otherwise all you will get is a bunch of numbers - and you dont eat those - although can get alphabetti spaghetti but that's letter! :)

      My diet is very scepticle, for instance today i have 2 bowls of frosties for breakfast. chicken dippers, chips and beans for dinner, then a bag of popcorn, and a poptart for a snack.
      Yesterday i had nothing but a chicken and mushroom slice.
      Sunday i had a great big fry up and a roast dinner.
      As i say i dont really have a diet as i eat when im hungry and grab whats around!
      Have asked loads of different people what i should eat and they keep telling me to eat high carbs etc which is no good to me as im a bit dense on what contains what.

        Ok, well first of all, you need to get some structure into your daily diet.  I try and work on 6 meals a day as this lets me feed my body at regular intervals along with keeping my metabolism up.
         
        If you post up a meal schedule that suits you, maybe someone can help you fill in the blanks.  I work on a basis that my two set in stone meals are breakfast and my pre bedtime meal.  Then the 4 other meals of my diet are spaced evenly between depending on what I happen to be doing throughout the day.
         
        Edit: sometimes I will eat more meals, it just depends what physical activities I get up to.

          Thanks for your comment. Ok im a self employed builder running my own company so unfortunatly i dont realy have a start work time or a finish work time, i just get in, get the job done and finish when its completed so realy the the same as you my set in stone meals can really only be breakfast and dinner.
          i can happily do six meals a day as i have a great appitite but they would have to be a pack lunch form of meals as im not one to swan off to the cafe for hours.
          i have been told having about 3-4 slices of marmite on toast for breakfast is good and a big bowl of dryed paster for lunch is ok, but other than that, i dont realy know what to put in a pack lunch to make 6 substancial meals.

            Well i am certainly not an expert, but what I do works well for me, so i'll give you a few ideas.
             
            But first of all, when do you go to the gym, as meals should be planned around this?
