 Chicken sausages

Hi guys,
 
Ive been grazing this forum for a while now, but finally decided id join and add my two pennies where i can.
 
Im currently on a bulk, although im trying to keep my diet as clean as possible. I was wondering how good/bad chicken sausages are with regards to eating clean. I visit the local butchers twice a week to get me chicken/steak, but spotted some chicken sausages the other day and thought id give them a go.
 
Being from the butchers its going to be pretty decent produce and have less of the nasty stuff you find in most sausages at the supermarket, was wondering your thoughts on them?
 
Eating maybe two a day with some veg, normally my fourth meal at about half 4ish.

    Should be fine just be aware that much of the time the humble sausage is where the off cuts end up, this and some filler: this means less protein, more fat, more carbohydrate and also often dodgy quality ingredients.

    'Lips and arseholes' as my chef friend succinctly puts it.

    Just make sure they're good qaulity and it should not be a problem in the big scheme of things - nice change of pace.

      They might have a fair bit of fat in them, but I would imagine if they are the butchers own they shouldn't really have any nasty additives etc in them.  Why not ask the butcher what's in them?
