MP charging me £6.95 for postage for 1kg of maltodextrin which comes to £9.94, gotta say i done fancy paying that. And i imagine other supplier online would charge a hefty postage too.

Not malto but asda do glucose sulphate 3.90 gbp for 500g so you'd save a quid lol

Ice, I use All In One for Casein and Malto.

If you buy the 1kg from them, http://www.sports-nutrition.net/store.php?id=12&sub=2, it will come to £6.90.  Delivery is £2.95 - and very reliably fast.

chrisellison - no asda's near me :(

theiopener - cornflour? was planning on adding malto to my shake, how would you use cornflour? Its obviously rich in carbs i take it?

sykojoe - thanks mate, interesting, quite pricely, but might go for it if i cant get any from some store.

BUFF STUFF - thanks mate, will need to nip into town sometime soon, even though i dont really like dex as its too sweet for my liking i might still get it, as its cheap.

Not sure ive seen anywhere do malto, maybe a supplement shop like H&B or GNC might, as for ordering it try ordering in bulk, so get other things you may neede/want too to save on postage.

mp's postage is 3.95?
cant you just buy 5 kilos of malto? you would be saving yourself money in the long run and would make having it delivered more cost effective.
plus, im sure mp's malto is much better quality than whatever you could pick up in h+b type places.
calm down, its life, mate, its only a game

Hi,

For the record we now have an economy postage service to the UK for any weight up to 5kg for only £2.49.

Of course shipping to NI is expensive (over sea), but we are the cheapest of any online bulk sellers (£6.95).

ahh i see, my bad for not noticing were you are from lol.
thing is though, you would use it eventually, wouldnt you? and if it makes buying it cheaper by getting more in at a time, i see no reason not to.

oh really? sounds good. does this new economy postage take longer than the regular dpd delivery?
i make an order usually every 2 weeks, but rarely over 5 kilos. (2.54k whey, 1k oats, 1k malto usually)

Good to see you have a lower UK rate now MP.

It put me off ordering a few dribs and drabs previously - I think it was £3.95.

Just to point out that generally speaking the supplements industry does have some of the lowest p&p rates of any online industry.

When you compare a charge of £6.95 for upto 30kg with that of some other sites for example an equestrian store charging £15.00 for 1.5kg to NI you do see the benefit of the supplement sites.

Iceman - I know where you are coming from mate - you don't want to pay more for p&p than the cost of the product itself.

I can say that even if you were buying it off a website based in NI then you would still be looking at a charge of around £3.25 and that would be subsidised as well mate.
Countdown has begun....

Yeah you absolutely right about bulk postage mate.

The only way i can get it cheap is to find some in a store like superdrug or boots if the ones in town do it.
