OTC supps to help with puffy nipps?
-
20 November 2009 10:54
During my Hdrol cycle ~10 months ago I became 'aware' of my nipples, as in they became more sensitive. However, I have no idea whether they were always 'puffy' but it brought it to my attention. By puffy, Im not talking pubertal female breast development puffy, but just a small mound of areola. The tissue hasnt changed, there's been no lactation, no lump development and when erect it seems to tighten the area and it seemingly goes away. they are just soft. I've tried 2 weeks on, 1 week off, and now just started Eviscerate again on the area. No change. If anything, I think because of my constant worry/attention to the area nipple itself is protuding slightly more (possibly muscle hypertrophy due to repeated checking for lumps). I'm running Stoked (trans-res supposed to help with oestrogen issues) and ATD to lessen my oestr for ~5 days, and no difference (whether this is to be expected at all with this cycle i dont know). Is there anything I can run that is OTC to help?

sounds estrogen related i get the same reaction on test boosters, i take esto supress or a 6-bromo product like cissus drol. but to be honest the ATD should definetly help!

ATD would be the best choice to lower estro.

Just be aware that ATD is linked to estrogen rebound and may have to be run for longer than 21 days and tapered down gradually until normal levels return.

If gyno is already present it is not going to go away. Letro I think will be your only option. Tbh your just going to have to come to terms with them. Mine are exactly the same. Most people have a slight bit of gyno even those who haven't used AAS or DS's. You have to rememeber it is only noticable to you.

Mark118, have you finished your cycle? If so run PCT. standard ATD pct would be 75/ 50/25/25 over each week. You must taper the dose down. I can't comment on stoked having never used it.

Both Topical Formestane and Nolvadex xt have from reading on some other boards had success in some for this/gyno.

NB: not sure if it matters but formestane is an AI as with ATD so if the end goal is the same, not sure if it matters in my situation

No with regards to the topical formestane the guys I have read about who have had some success have applied it to the nipple area, so maybe some direct localised effect?? Doesn't Nolvedex XT have a "secret" propriotary blend or something in it. Anyway some have used to some success, I am also aware that round where I am according to a friend who is very knowledgeable it has gained quite a following as many of his "clients" are using it rather than some "real" meds for Estrogen control/drying out purposes??

there is an interesting thread over at anabolic minds of a guy running novadex xt at 3,2,2,1 with gingko and his lumps in his nipples have gone. i think perhaps, i should run my atd @50mg/day and stoked as usual for a further week, and if nothing changes then order some novadex xt. what do you think?

Well the Nolvedex XT has had some good reports, who knows, me I would be concerned taking too many OTC "meds" one after the other.I fyou haven't got any hard tissue under the nipples I would personally try ATD at 50mg for a week or 2 (take it with a tablespoon of olive oil as this is supposed to improve absorption) then taper off to 1 cap over a week or so. Have a rest and then perhaps try the Nolvedex, this is only my non qualified opinion of course.

I understand, i was thinking of using Novadex xt as a follow up because it is ATD based too but for now, I will try 50mg/night of atd and stoked (trans res) and see if there is anything reduction however, and this is a big however, i'm not sure at this point how to differentiate between fat and glandular tissue as there are no lumps, just a soft puffyness and slihglty mounded nipps

It would be beneficial to source letro. 50mg ATD is fine. Remember to take at least 25mg just before bed

@mark dude, i wouldn't worry about slightly puffy nips unless you have lumps forming, especially if your lass doesn't notice anything. a way to reassure yourself is to do a few sets of push-ups, enough to get a chest pump. work it from all angles ie feet elevated, different hand positions, really get your chest pumped. have a good flex and check yourself out in the mirror. i'm certain your 'gyno' will have gone away. if you're carrying a little bodyfat like me you are bound to have a bit of 'fluff' around your nipples. after a chest session and for a few days after my nips look fine, getting to the end of the week i notice more 'fluff'. try what i said and fingers crossed you'll get a little reassurance that it's not gyno. as over the last 10 months, if you were getting gyno you probably would have a much more pronounced case of it by now and not nailing it sooner. i don't think taking an ai would do anything even if it was but if it makes you feel better go for it!

thanks rokkus, i'm 90% certain it isnt gyno. the hardened/larger muscle immediately behind the 'teet' of the nipple seems less red today and less sensitive. hopefuly with time the hypertrophy/inflammation will decrease... your idea about the fat loss is something i do want to try aftr xmas to see if that helps with the underlying puffyness After researching the forums, it seems puffy nipps is a very common affliction but few openly talk about it in the real world

mark118 After researching the forums, it seems puffy nipps is a very common affliction but few openly talk about it in the real world haha... aye. i can't imagin any of the lads bringing up puffy nips down the gym, not very macho! the higer your bodyfat the more puffy your nipples will be, that's just the way it goes. the exception being overweight people especially fatties, who have the misfortune to suffer the man-boob. if you think about the average build of dudes in this country then you're looking at a lot of people with puffy nipples and boobs.

I have always had puffy nipples to, naturaly, no lumps and havn't used steroids. It goes when I pumped or cold but the rest of the time they annoy me. Daari It would be beneficial to source letro. 50mg ATD is fine. Remember to take at least 25mg just before bed Are you saying that Letro or even ATD can remove puffy nips permanently or is it just going to get rid of them while taking the above?

I have seen a few cases where the use of letro has reversed gyno, for good. I have only seen one case with ATD. The chap was taking 75mg IIRC, 50mg before bed, and 25mg with breakfast If it is pubertal gyno (pseudo-gyno) then I am unsure, this is referring to real gyno (actual hard lump under the nipple)

update: no longer is the tissue/muscle hard/dense, but the overall size seems the same... but its only just 1.5 weeks in (assuming its oestro related)
