What you all up to - 04 December 2009 23:01
Most of us are now laying on a little layer to keep us warm for winter after a long comp season so what's on the agenda for you all now? Off season plans? Next/first comp? Do divulge

As for me.......

I did my last show 3 weeks ago which was my pro debut having won the BNBF British finals in October this year. I'm determined not to put on as much weight off season as I normally do so have gone straight back on a healthy eating program that will hopefully allow me some growth but not too much flab. I will decide in April or May next year whether to compete in October or to hold on until 2011....all depends on my progress. If I'm making good gains then it seems a shame to stop them in order to diet again.

i'm still trying to get into a regular weight training routine! if its not one thing its another!!! plus apart from all the genuine interruptions, its the excuses LOL

however, plan to compete toned figure again next year, so i have a few weeks to scramble together all the muscle i can, keeping fairly lean, then a short sharp diet (ouch!) hopefully make it to the finals because i LOVE a weekend in southport!!!!! In fact hopefully WIN my qualifier but it depends what life throws at me in terms of flu, colds, toddlers and husband on a mission!!!!

I'm trying to get my last little bit of growing in before I start dieting in March next year for BNBF Welsh or Centrals. NPA Show decided as soon as they're announced, earlier the better for me :-)

Tryng to grow. Eating pretty clean but no super strict. Train, eat, sleep, grow. Diet will start end April and I'm aiming for either ukbff welsh or midland/leicster in Sept as a scrawny physique lol.

Most Paul McKenna books are actually NLP based.

Years ago, my cheesecake obsession was getting out of hand, so I learnt an exercise where you visualise a food you hate, then the one you love. Anyway, cut a long story short, I now rarely eat the stuff, and NEVER crave it...

Books do work... ;-)

I wouldn't recommend it as sun lounger reading tbh. You have to be somewhere where you've got time, to be in your own thoughts and completely focused...

Tan - YUM!!!!! It was made using Crunchies...

Flick are you a general fan of NLP or specifically Paul Mckennas books? Quite interested to read something like this and give it a try - any recommendations?
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

Mmm, decided unopened Rosemary Connelly mags were a better sun lounger plan.

Am a big fan of NLP full-stop... Personally I think it's hard to administer it in the first place onto yourself (although Paul McKenna's books do have CD's with them).

I would say it's worth investing in seeing someone in person, if it's for something important enough i.e. a specific goal - sometimes you only need 1 or 2 sessions - I've been suggesting it to my PT clients who suffer with confidence issues or eating probs...
