Hahaha - that's quality Chris!!!

Well, weekend was long and tiring, and I was fairly wrecked the whole time we were there... Diet went fairly to plan, ate LOTS of cheese, rye bread and butter - I think I ate around 2kg to myself, bought another 2kg at the airport to bring home too

I did "balance" food/beer intake as best as possible, tried to be hungry the whole time to encourage a bit of tightening up

Anyway, had fun, now back to it.

Weekly weight in: 83.4kg

So it worked well enough - I am a fair chunk tighter in the mirror, so all gravy. I might actually hit better condition than hoped for prior to the break

Seems so long since i had a bad hangover. Either my memory is failing which is a bad sign, or i've been being sensible which is a good sign.

How was the 'dam?

You're not going to be like those two blokes from Human Traffic now are you

I'm more just a slow version of me thank hung over, no headache, etc...

'dam was great, managed to do almost zero tourist activity, and also didn't spend the earth. Our groups randomly bumped into a few people we knew as well, which was odd.

Cheese is brilliantly cheap over there - £4 a kilo give or take, ate loads. Then got stung £25 in the airport for 2kg of really nice stuff... I should be able to eat eggs next time I go, so will indulge in more pastries, etc.

Just had lunch - chops, cheese & broccoli again - though sainsburies basic chops... VERY fatty, not as nice as farmfoods ones, though would BBQ well!

£4 a kilo ain't bad. I'd rather have a kilo of chicken though. One day if the adage you are what you eat is true i might just turn into a chicken breast.

Nah, cheese comes first - 25% protein + 30% fat = win!

Ooh, they did have a lot of rare beef slices knocking about too... they were given a good home!

Last time i checked Holland was part of the EU so you shouldn't have been stung for any taxes at all when bringing goods back from trips etc.

You should have queried it, i bet the thieving baskets pocketed the money you handed over.

Right, for those who are interested, tobasco sauce + water =

Really not a great plan, just tastes wrong.

However, it did go down a treat on my pork chops earlier so all good!

Ended up having a (tiny) pizza last night, and curry planned for later. Erm, more curries, pizzas, etc, lined up for rest of week too as it's Jess' birthday... will have to put more effort into this training lark to avoid adding fat this late on...

That said, training tonight, can't wait!! Ended up having 6 days off with that long weekend, so if I'm 7% off target, I know what to blame....

Well that Arnie video in General motivated me somewhat - to the point of half tearing a hamstring.... oops!

Other than that, quality session. Quick check with the tape measure and arms are up again - now sat at 16.5" pumped. Looking through here that's an extra 1/4 inch at the same time as dropping a bit over 2kg I think

Pretty happy with how I'm starting to look now, more fat to come off, but shape and size are onboard. More weighted walking should help the chub melt a bit, oh, and cheese...

There's only another 6 sessions left now... need to make them count!

16.5" is good going as you're quite lean. My arms look better and are more vascular but doubt size has changed much.

Im surprised your still cutting with all those curries and pizzas! I take it your not a three course man???

Cheers Jim, everything tightening up with a little more size = happy Tony!

If you're getting more vascular but size remaining, you must be shifting the chub & likely gaining too, again, all good

Hah, no, not a 3 course kind of guy, just 1 'kin big one

40-50 minutes - would be a bit less if I stuck to just doing the bag stuff, but once I'm done with a muscle group I go and pose the nuts of it so it gets a really nice final pump

Oh well... last night I had enough sausage and mash and lager such that I couldn't move in bed (will stick a photo up on mondya, bluetooth at home = dead), tonight I've just had an awesome curry followed by a chuffing skinfull of various drinks........ hey ho.

This whole experience has been really intriguing for me - whilst I've happily trained my balls off, sticking to "correct" eating (even my  "bastardised" version) is curiously tricky...

Looking in the mirror now I hope I've not sabeoutaged (SP?????) myself tooooo badly, a week of zero carb coming up for giggles prior to carb up (hmmm, 1 more night on massive piss first though ), fingers crossed

Managed to stop at just a small pizza and a tiny ice cream for lunch, sat with a Red Stripe watching gladiators, score!

Actually felt reasonably rough from drinking last night today, so not gonna go mad tonight. Think I'll do a weighted walk with Henry shortly, might make me feel better about the copious empty calories I'm getting through.....

Lager plan worked well last night, for a while... about 8 pints in I decided to get a rum & coke, spotted Woods 100, so asked for that, but then ended up with a mix of that and Wray & Nephew.... all bets were off soon after that and I was drinking like a fish. Wouldn't of been too bad except I then stopped at a burger van, on the way to the pizza shop!! Oh bugger....

Eaten a big lump of cheese so far today, from now 'til friday (I think) only carbs are gonna be from 1 stop and salad. Would like to just quickly dump about 4lbs to make up for recent slackness, will see how I get on!

Will be training later once belly is a bit more settled...

Weekly weigh in: 83.3kg - so dropped about 1/2lb since last week, considering weekend binge, not too bad, lol!

Finally got pic from friday's tea - this is why it's better for Jess to cook than me, I go a little overboard, that's a big ass bowl it's sat in...

That said, first day of no carbs was yesterday, meant I had to suffer through this for my tea:

Bugger eh??

I've got a pile of sausages and bacon to get through this no carb week, then a quick low sodium re-carb at the weekend and all should be good for the pics. Hopefully...

I have debated whether or not to do this to quite some length - it has the potential to screw things up for the shots, but also the potential to make me look the best possible for the shots. End of the day I figured frig it, in it to win it mentality, might as well try it!

Last week now, head down and get the most out of the last few sessions, good luck everyone!!

Oh yes - carbs stopped on sunday (well, technically I had a burger & pizza at ~ 3am on sunday, but meh!), will return on saturday.

I'm planning to be bursting at the seams

Had the above meal for lunch, spot on, gonna miss it when this week is over!!

Graph is from day 1, so I ended up adding about 6lbs, but have since lost them all... basically at square 1 now!

I had planned to gain mass first, then tighten up, so it's good on that front, just I had hoped to end up weighing more at the end of things. Never mind eh? That said a carb deplete and reload will do some funny things to the scales for next monday!

I remember what you said about how everything plays mind games when it comes to weight etc, and i can see exactly what you mean...you have gained 0 lol but look huge, i have gained 11lbs and look leaner its seriously weird.

But its how it all looks in the mirror thats the important bit i guess!

How tall are you?

In that 6 week shot I was about 5lbs up IIRC, but I've filled out plenty more since then and dropped a lot of weight... you're right, very mentally odd! I think you've certainly thickened up with the 11lbs you've gained, a bit more leaness can be expected from the focus on training I guess.

Yes, I'm happy with the mirror at the minute, will see what I'm like tonight pumped with 3 days no carbs, will probably be a bit flat, but will be a good way to gauge how lean I am. My big worry is what's going on with my back development - impossible to tell day to day! Looking at my before shots I'm pretty sure legs have come on a lot, but again, need photos to be sat side by side to tell for sure

I'm 6' on the nose mate

Yeah, have you been taking any back pics?

In the pic in your sig is obvious your lats have come on alot so if youve been sticking to the same training and high protien then fingers crossed they should have grown even more. You def have a much more tappered look.

Looking forward to the pics though for sure, be good to funally see everyones results!

I did 1 back shot several weeks back, but it was on my phone, whilst chinning, so can't compare it really. I am more tapered than in that recent shot though, so yeah, if they're showing through from the front, I guess all's gravy from behind! Duh!!!

Yeah, I can't wait to see how everyone has gotten on. Even though I've had some great feedback, I'd bloody love it if there's a handful of folk who completely show me my arse, would be great to see! I reckon some of the cutters are going to look VERY good....

Quality training session finished, everything felt great, strength high, plenty of energy, lovely pump all round, happy days!!

No issues with flatness at all, will see what happens when I train on thursday. Hoping this ultra low carb malarky kicks away a bit more bodyfat though...

Just getting shake down me, then gonna have a couple of bits of tuna and some garlic mushrooms... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Nicely - make sure that there is enough light in there so that your cameras ISO doesn't have to go crazy, as you could end up with blurred or noisy shots. In honesty I cocked this up a bit for my before shots as I'd left my camera in a manual mode without realising, didn't realise until it was too late!
