Ak_88 Sorry to hear about your ulcerative collieritis (apologies, it was begging for it, i hope you liked it!) James, feel better soon! The colitis isn't the bad news mate - had that since 2004 - it's the throat I need 'sorry to hear about'!

If you do try D3, try a 1-off dose of 25,000iu, followed by 5,000iu/day (Stoss Therapy).

James this is clearly not as bad as what i have. You obviously have an actual illness with symptoms, whereas i have a mild case of Manflu
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

I am thinking of upping it slightly when I co onto the Pred though due to the decalcifying issues. But in reality i take a lot more than 5k iu though, as there's a modest amount in Animal Pack.

I can't think of a pun for that though BTW - i've not forgotten about that RC article i promised you, i've just been swimming in MSc preparation/work and as such, the last thing my free time needs is more writing and thinking! Hopefully i can get a few hours done on it over easter and it'll be finished.

James I have not been well at all. My thoat is still swollen and I have no voice. I haven't trained for over 2 weeks now and i can't eat well. To top it all I had a diarrhoea and sickness bug on Monday which went into Tuesday, and yesterday I had stomach acid issues. I can hardly eat a thing! Health is not good and shows little sign of improvement. As a consequence of sticking my head down the bog most of Monday, and being bent forwards when ****ting, my back was killing me; it's still sore now. Health is not good. I can't eat, I cant train and I can't run my businesses effectively. Oh dear!!! I am sorry to hear it. I hope you feel better soon mate!

My voice is limited, but I can speak a little. But training is going well - I'm around 15 stone 10lbs in modest condition and this is the heavier side of normal for me. I have updated my TROG with latest posts: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/trog/2/1055tp.aspx

My voice is still poor - 25 days now! I feel great though (apart from my neck feels swollen and I cough a lot catching my breath and from aspirating saliva). Weight is up to 15st 12lbs. I'm definitely holding water from the Prednisolone treatment, but the colitis is improving so I have cut the dose. Looking big, but not in my best condition. Strength is ok though, and I'm back training with Daz Ball - read about it at: http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/trog/2/1086tp.aspx I'll be at the Warrington show this Sunday with Daz and Lambo - please come and say Hi if you're there.

Trained a client last night who I'm helping get ready for the UKBFF MuscleTalk Championships in June http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/trog/2/1118tp.aspx I used the new Anabolic Designs pre-workout product Stampede - definitely felt a good boost.

I've intentionally stayed reserved in posting in case anybody finds out about our trysts I'd be interested to know a rough plan of your diet and routine James. Clearly you are a guy in shape and who knows much about training and nutrition.

I have no training routine as you can see from my TROG - I train wholely instinctively and if I train with one of the guys I do what they want as they're the important ones. My diet: that too is all over. But I do follow some basic principles which I will post this week...

I'm really trying to develop a better feel for things - i'm not the best at adhering to a rigid routine. If i can train hard, eat well and get the ethos right i'm sure i can do alright. Do you find your diet gets affected much by revolving around the family, or are you disciplined enough to stick to your own needs?

ENT outcome. For those of you interested in my voice problems: I saw the ENT consultant today and the diagnosis is now confirmed chronic laryngeo-pharyngitis, ie a swollen larynx & pharynx. It's permanent so not treatable, but it is manageable. So, with speech therapy and a number of other things, I will be talking properly again soon (I hope). And future prognosis means I have to be very careful under certain circumstances.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. Below is a sample of a day's diet plan. However, I rarely manage to stick to this due to irrgular working times and being busy, etc. However, I do use this as a basis. Work + Training Day Wake 30g whey protein in water Breakfast 7.45am Wholewheat cereal + skimmed milk + sugar ½ MRP in water 9.30am Pro-Flapjack Item fruit Tea with skimmed milk 12.00pm Sandwich / roll Item fruit Drink 2.30pm Large handful sunflower seeds / nuts Flapjack MRP RTD Tea with skimmed milk 4.30pm 30g whey protein in water 6 oatcakes Item fruit Tea with skimmed milk Immediately post workout MRP in water or 20g WPH + maltodextrin in water Evening Meal (60 mins later) 200g lean meat / chicken / fish / 6 eggs Potatoes / rice / pasta / bread Veg / salad Mid-evening Wholewheat cereal + skimmed milk + sugar and/or 5-6 crispbread / oatcakes + 100g cheese + nuts/seeds Probiotic yoghurt 6 BCAAs Bedtime ½ MRP For some reason, this seems a little sparce. In reality I do eat mroe than this!
