cheerz Dan,
will take a good read at that in a while.. I got the link from your journal and quickly flicked through it..
Ok, there we go..
Today I started my new diet plan and went very well but for the bloating feeling.. what's really pi**ing me off is I just seem to me that I put on fat from breathing! I don't really eat much.. I don't have a sweet tooth and the last time i got drunk was 3 weeks ago.. anyhow..
stats
waist 39
bicep right 16.7
bicep left 15.9
chest 47
forget about legs as they are as skinny as hell.. 80% of BF is around belly and chest
7.30 Whey in water
30 mins brisk walk with the dog.. dog was Fu**ed! don't think I'll take him tomorrow
Breakfast:
3 poached eggwhites, i yolk, and oats with skimmed milk a handfull of sultanas, little almond and a dash of honey.. tasted very nice
10.00 am
chiken breast with salad
13.00 Lunch
tin of tuna+ little salad+ 30 gm brown rice
16:00
half a chicken fillet with half a wholemeal pitta and some lettuce
17.45
15 gm brown rice+ half a tin of sardines
18:30 training Chest + tris
19:30 Whey in water 30 gm protien
20:30 Dinner
1 cup brocoli
30 gm brown rice
6 oz sirlion and dog ate the fat
22:00 a tub of cottage cheese
I seem to drop 1lb of hopefully fat and old Tshirts are a lot lose around the belly and tight at the chest
training today was not too bad

Flat Bench Press - 6 Reps x4 (80 kG)
Incline Dumbbell Press - 8-10 Reps x4 (50 kG)
Flat Flyes - 6 Reps x3 (15 kG)
Close-grip Bench Press - 6 Reps x4 (46 kG)
Skull Crushers - 8-10 Reps x3 (20 kG) underhands
I am thinking to do an hour cardio tomorrow as well after work. will take a whey before hand..
which me luck people

hey Samcim,
I do feal the energy to do stuff alright and recover from training, etc.. but i am still a bit worried that i am over doing it with the carbs.. i know ALL the carbs i am getting are good carbs, but not sure if its helping with shedding the fat.. do you think maybe i could just keep dinners mainly meat and veg or Salad and skip the rice or the wholewheat pasta? thanks for your diet plan again dude, its a real treat to me and sometimes find it hard to eat again as i don't get time to feel hungery.

hey there

Firstly, good progress on the pics at the start, keep it up

Secondly, you could try having 2 days of lower carbs, and then a day of higher carbs, and repeat this cycle, this is called "refeeding" - basically you end up sort of tricking your body into thinking you are ingesting more carbs than you really are over the course of those 3 days, the day of higher carbs makes it think its getting loads, wheras the 2 days before (or after) are lower on cals and hence a bit extra fat loss.

Have a nose (and post) around in the diet forum here for more info from people who know more than me!

cheerz nymjam,
i will be posting new photos soon with the new progress. I lost 2 inches of my gutt since i started in january arms aren't really getting bigger but getting a lot harder and taking a nicer shape.. i can only thank samcim for the diet and Dan Nukem for the routine.. i can really feel the difference since i started on both almost 3 weeks ago..
I got back from egypt on may 1st.. didn't get to see much of hols there as i was hit with vertigo that pretty much knocked the sh*t outta me for 6 days.. everytime i moved me head the whole world started spinning. my wife was blaming the extra protien that i have been taking... how do u find living in Egypt, mate? good luck training in that heat

I lived in Cairo for 8 months, in a place called Maadi. It’s quite nice, people are friendly, food is cheap (although chicken is still a bit hard to come by) and the weather is nice.

I was a member of Gold’s Gym which was very sweet! Good free weights area, swimming pool and Jacuzzi on the roof over looking Cairo all for £300 a year, sooooo much cheaper than the UK!

I now spend most of my time outside of Alexandria, north of Cairo, on a gas refinery and it’s not quite as much fun. Still, it’s all good I get to run on sand everyday with a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea (sunsets are amazing very day, should have a picture in my journal soon).

If you ever come back and need some advice on where to go, what to see and where to stay just let me know!
