Day 2 Incline bench 8 @ 30kg, 8 @ 40kg, 8 @ 45kg Sticking to 42.5kg as 45kg was a bit too hard. Dumbell bench 8, 8, 8 @ 20kg each arm At least I think they were 20's, leaving it at that for the moment as the last few reps were hard to grind out. Overhead barbell press 8, 8, 7 @ 30kg Close grip bench 8, 8 @ 30kg, 8 @ 32.5kg Paid my membership money today, £22 per month for a years contract. Not too shabby! Getting back into my diet has been the most difficult part. Missed one meal, if not two today. Going to get some oats tomorrow so I can make shakes up to take to work.

Day 1 Deadlift 8, 8 @ 80kg, 8 @ 85kg Sticking to 85kg, goal is 95kg by end of the month. Chins 8, 7, 6 @ bodyweight Barbell row 8, 8, 8 @ 40kg Upping that next week. Hammer curl 8, 8, 7 @ 15kg Diet is getting better.

It's not great because I'm not organised enough. I'm getting there though, cooking a load of chicken etc the night before for meals at work and taking shakes with me. I was at Glasgow Uni, graduated this year so now I've joined that rat race! What you studying? Very impressive lifts btw!!

Day 1 Deadlift 8 @ 85kg, 8 @ 87.5kg, 8 @ 90kg Felt really good today so decide to go for it. Might want to revise my goals next week! Chins 8, 7, 6 @ bodyweight Barbell row 8 @ 42.5kg, 8 @ 45kg, 8 @ 50kg Diet must be getting better...or muscle memory is better than I thought! Hammer curl 8, 7, 6 @ 15kg

Day 3 Squat 8, 8 @ 100kg, 8 @ 90kg Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a thin old guy squatting 100kg. Asked if I could work in with him and he insisted I try the 100kg, managed two sets of 8 3/4 reps so once he'd finished I dropped the weight and was amazed that I could do 90kg. One of those, what on earth moments.... SLDL 8 @ 77.5kg, 8 @ 80kg, 8 @ 85kg Leg extension 8, 8, 8 @ 60kg Calf raise 15 @ 60kg, 15, 15 @ 65kg Today was another good day Gotta love that muscle memory

Close grip bench On the bench this time, not on a smith. 8 @ 40kg, 8 @ 45kg, 7 @ 47.5kg This is me assuming that the bar weighed 20kg. It looked like a standard oly bar.

Day 3 Squat 8, 8, 8, @ 90kg Going for 92.5kg with perfect form next week. Form this week was good, but could be better. I sometimes have difficulty with my knees moving inwards instead of staying still. SLDL 8, 8, 8 @ 85kg Up by 2.5kg next week. Leg extension 8, 8, 8 @ 65kg Calf raise 15, 15 @ 65kg, 15 @ 67.5kg

Shrugs 8, 8 @ 75kgkg, 8 @ 80kg Was really pissed off with a recruiter for sending me to a job, me getting bus, then when I phoned to confirm the name of the company, they said the client had cancelled and they had 'tried' to contact me to tell me, but no voicemail on mobile, no missed calls....AARRGHHH!! Gave me the motivation for a good workout though
