Heh... I thought I'd have a change from "rfb", my usual online handle, and all the pretty girls I know call me Dr Rick... yes, I'm a mathematician rock star. With a big belly and, today, the gait of an old, old man...

Maths: well, I was one of the top handful in the world in my field, but maths is so specialised at research level that that's not necessarily saying much. I was good, but not great... in the end, not good enough or committed enough to stick with it. Now I expand the minds of the youth of Bolton.

Cheers mate . I would have been absolutely made up if it wasn't for the tweaked back... trying to get in and out of the car today was amusing for onlookers.

Assuming I haven't permanently ruined myself, I think there's still plenty more there if I can just get the technique right. That said, going for a 15kg PB on a 20kg increment shows you why I have all these qualifications... nobody'd believe I was clever if I couldn't prove it.

Today everything seems to mostly work again, though it's still a little bit ouchie. I'm a lucky, lucky boy.

Still not lifting today, though I really was tempted - just going to do all three lifts light on Wednesday, assuming all the soreness is gone by then, and then hit the 10-rep cycle as usual on Sunday. Might go in for cardio on Friday.

Well, I'm both actually.

Not a doctor in the medical sense I might add.

Hmm, is this is a double bluff, a genuine mistake, or a further attempt to mislead the masses !!!
Dr. Rick "accidentally" posting as MT2...the plot thickens.

Cheeky cahnt.

Well, the double-bluffer is right, but with this post he has proved my innocence beyond doubt - at 11:31 I was at work, from which access to various unsavoury kinds of websites is blocked, it being a school and all.

Including this, and indeed any other, forum.

This may not convince any of the rest of you, but at least now I know for sure I've not developed a split personality that's outposting me two to one, and maintaining a website about people many of whom I don't know. Well, not *this* split personality, anyway.

Joe Pieder, indeed. Still, *I* don't live in Bolton...

The real evidence is that comic store guy pic. I hate that bastard.

Groening never gave me the cut he promised for basing him on me, either.

Oh, all right, I am spartacus.

I haven't got time for yet another website, at least not until such time as deadlifting makes my hands too rough for the single man's relaxing evening activities.
