Jessops, £300 (No memory card) but £30 cashback from Nikon, it's my first ever DSLR and the difference is massive

Obviously i'm scaling these down and lowering the quality, the original image quality is breathtaking for someone so used to compact cameras

Get on that site I linked in. You'll learn loads. All about using your camera to its full potential, composition, focus etc etc. I took the lessons they offer there. for $60, they're a bargain. If you've got the bug, the site and lessons will allow it to bloom!

Seeing as this thread is bumped up again.. I don't take photography but I do take photos for art so heres some paintings from my GCSE's and A level work. Can't find the other pics..

Check out her paintings. Some of them take 10 mins before you actualy notice what the painting is of. Favourate artist atm.

Ye A at GCSE and probs a B at A-level as I barely do any work..
I prefer graphics to art as you can see from the first three paintings.

Yep, love his stuff. Went to see his exibition in chelsea the other month (took me 20 mins to find a normal shop that sold normal food for a normal price). Pretty good although it was just people getting rich off his ideas. Copies that other artists had done going for half a mill.. Not sure how it worked, I know Bansky himself got 4% and the gallery would of got some to but what stops everyone just making a copies and selling them? I thought it was quite ironic that Bansky was giving people permission to do this when I would expect him to be taking the piss out of such things. Guess he needs to make his money some how though..

Can certainly see his influence in your work, though not as a direct copy. I thought Banksy was doing commissioned work. Isn't his latest display called Wall and Canvas or something like that??
