Cheers Abort, really appreciated the feed back!

Your lifts are looking good, is the back still holding up?

Pics look good.
I hope you don't mind me asking but what is the name of the genetic disorder that causes your face to be so pale and expressionless?
Also it appears someone nicked your pants in the first pic, did you get the guy?

You are in much better nick than me mate. Keep it up.

BTW, you will definitely need to put on some bodyweight (not necessarily fat) if you want to get that big bench we talked about.

Right all; sorry to go quite, I have had a crazy few days. Monday afternoon I left site, bound for Cairo (no training). Some of my colleagues in Cairo organised a spur of the moment leaving do, so a long day turned into a long night, filled with nuts crisps and alcohol (managed to stick to vodka water), what a shame (and a 6am pizza )

As you might have guessed the next day (yesterday) was a disaster training wise . I had lots to tie up in the office and was still feeling sorry for myself from the night befores festivities. Fuelled by crap food I packed my bags (had to buy another one, for all me make up ) and didn’t get to bed until 3am this morning.

Left for the airport at 5:30am (imagine the walking dead) and have now just got into my house in London.

Not a good couple of days , but it’s time to get my head down and get back into the gym.

Tonight I’ll eat clean, run and hit the gym fresh tomorrow.

Cheers Samcim,

I’ll get on the picture case mate and sort something out by the end of the week!

Maccer,

Thanks for the kind words, I’m sure you’ll look a lot better than that with a little bit of diet watching!!

Zlaty,

LOL… I took the picture the day after my B-day in the showers at Heathrow airport. It was about 8am, I hadn’t slept and I was still drunk. It took me about 10mins to work out how to use my camera (The camera is two years old) LOL

McLaren,

Cheers mate, but I don’t have the raw power you’ve got . Since your last post, I have thought about my training a lot. I think I will lean up a bit, then try to up my max pushes/presses. (I’ll probably use your journal as a training guide LOL)

Yeah I know the feeling. I'm training at the Sheraton in Uganda and my squat rack is a bench with two broomsticks under the support for extra height

I refuse to use the Smith Machine...

LOL that’s so funny, I feel your pain!!!!

I was outside using a bar (standing military presses) and a security guard came over and told me it was an HSE issue and I had to stop . The funny thing is he wanted me to use a bench which had screws coming through the seat!!

Of course, I took the appropriate action….made out I didn’t speak Arabic and had no idea what he was talking about

LoL, quick thinking on your feet there...

I was contracting all over the UK and travelling when I could, took 3 months off to come to Uganda as the Old Lady has a safari business out here and beef/chicken/fish is like 1 us dollar a kilo. Wanted to kick start my bb'ing journey off properly and I didn't want work to get in the way.

I've developed such a taste now for lean beef I'm going to be broke when I go back to Aus, it's cheaper then the UK but not that cheap.

Nice to see your company is flying you business class.

Leave the fat on, if it's before your workout you'll burn it off.

Just got to my hotel in Trinidad, after a 12-hour trek on the back of 3 sleepless nights in London! I’m hear for a week then off to Houston, where I will get 2 weeks of uninterrupted training, I hope.

Training has been poor and diet equally as bad, so no breadfruit or plantain for me!

I did manage to squeeze in a chest and bi (half session due to the pain in my forearm) session on Thursday, but other than that things have been bad.

Doc said the pain in my arm is tennis elbow and that there’s not much that can be done except pressure and topical cream (great, I get the feeling this is going to be a nagging injury).

Tomorrow I will run before breakfast and then go on the hunt for a gym.

P.S. I will make a note tomorrow of my chest & bi session and then bitch about “Fitness-First” (pounced scum of the earth).

’m a little bit frustrated at the moment, as the hotel I’m in doesn’t have a gym and I’ve been told that it’s too dangerous to use the taxis or run at night.

Sunday I went for 1:30 min run around the hotel. Most of it was at a slow pace, but I did stop a couple of times to do some chin-ups on low tree branches and Handstands.

Food has been clean the last few days, although the quantity and timing has been poor due to circumstances. Hopefully today will be better as I now know what to expect and can make provisions.

Food yesterday:

7:30am
4 eggs whites + 1 yellow
2 slices of lean ham (although I think they are very high in salt)
Large spoon of watermelon and pineapple
Green tea

12:30pm
Stir-fired chicken
Stir-fried vegetables
Green tea

7:00pm
Chicken breast, no sauce

8:00pm Train

To be completed....

LoL 10 points for determination mate. I've had a week off the weights myself, you wont lose anything, if anything you'll come back stronger.
