Legs done............

Squats:
10x 60k
8x 80k
5x 100k
5x 120k (belt on)
1x 140k
1x 160k
1x 170k (all good depth)
Tried 180k with knee wraps but fcuked it up.
1x 150k (just belt again)
3x 140k
3x 140k
Tried new suit on (could'nt get belt round me) and just tried for 1x 180k, but could'nt find depth and it felt heavy to get back up but did so okish! Felt a bit weird though and this will be difficult to learn on my own!!! Sweating profusely and totally nackered!

EDIT - I'm going to start monitoring my weight, which I want to get down to -90k. I'm not going to 'diet' as such for the time being, but consciously keep an eye on it and post it up weekly.

Today: 97.2k

What weight did you put the suit on?

I'd but the suit (straps down) and knee wraps on at about 60-70%. Your gona find it a bitch to hit depth but you start to get accustomed to the technique etc. I'd do a couple of sets working up then put the straps up and continue.

Thanks for looking in Iaink. I do train at a Pl Club but today was alone at home.

I put the suit on at 180k just to try it out.

Thanks for the advice, next time I'll try it at a lower weight and with straps down.

No wonder it didn't feel good. Still at least you got the suit on. Some advice doing a lot of work with the straps down, however I found that the straps up makes a big difference so you may as well get the straps up earler and feel out the full lift. . Look forward to seeing how it goes nxt week!

Bit vague, a little more detail will help us to help you.

Wear your suit from the start, and warm up with the straps down. It's generally not a good idea to put a suit on when you're pumped

Basically Pete, it was simply a case of leaning forward slightly as I went to drive up, and lost control of it. Power Rack's safety bars did their job.

PB's still low compared to most mate, but going in the right direction and thats all I can ask.

Re: wearing the suit Pete, I shall take on board your advice - thank you!

Peter is right. Can't imagine trying to put even my loose suit on when I'm warmed up and full of blood.
