Bit unsure about how its effected strength mate. Not squatting due to ongoing shoulder problem and the same goes for bench.

I'm too small for my deadlift suit so I haven't been doing that either. Looking at getting a new Metal King pro deadlifter soon though.

really did not feel like squatting on monday,, but went anyway, was drained so went for singles

60kg x3 100kgx3 140kgx3 180kgx3 220kgx1 230kgx1 then found some decent collars,,, 245kgx1 this actually was great depth and easy, have vid to come, 255kg this was also easy, in my mind i was not including the collars so was pressing 5kg more than usual, 265kgx1 this was a new pb, depth was a fraction out but i am quite hard on myself so will let everyone judge from the vids when i stick them up...

really glad i went now, i have found the weakness now as the vid will show, the drive with the hips, so heavy good mornings needed soon...

bench last night, been struggling trying to find any headway on improvement, i got a comfy 170kg in there with the shirt but i am stalling, i am sure it is down to lack of back work for the lats as the drive from the chest is weak so

did bottom position decline benches

worked up in 20kg`s for triples, failed at 140kg, the lats were hurting big time, so very productive

onto flat bench, 60kg and bands, chose bands for speed/power work, felt good to be using again, worked up to 50kg a side using green bands, the tension started an inch from the chest and defianetly well worth it...

bench dips working up to an additional 60kg on the lap supersetted with a 65 dumbell doing french press for 10 reps, the tri`s were shattered after this...

really enjoyed the workout

totals to date are

squat 265kg
bench 170kg
dead 220kg

total 655kg at 95kg bodyweight

deads still need work as only had one session actually doing them in the past 8 months, so there is a lot to be gained

outlook for the end of the year

squat 280-300kg
bench 190-210kg
dead 260-280kg

total 730-790

under 100kg

squats on monday, decided to down load a bit but the feeling is there that you never work hard enough,

so triples up to 220kg, put the 240kg and was a right disaster..

put the 240kg got the mindset right and did triple, was a new pb for triple at theis weight,, just shows the power of the mind, went onto hack squats, using a wide stance and a deep set, 4 sets 10 reps, thighs were now fried

finished with good mornings, 4 sets 10 reps working up to 100kg

good session, weighed in a t 100kg, must keep weight under control now...

bench ,,, wednesday

bttom position bench again, triples working up to 140kg, finding this more comfy now as the lats are getting used to the work

bench with green bands, worked from 50kg up to 120kg, the delts were fried now and chest was hurting big time, all trebles again

french press, 4 sets 10 reps with the 85`s, tris are growing well and think once shirted for the bench in a few weeks time should do well...

You need to pick that dead up mate, it doesn't do ou justice.

Do you not find bottom position bench hard on the shoulders?

Cool. I love it when you know you've nailed a lift half way through! The wraps over the combats is that not a prob?

Did you cut the depth mate or was that as far down as the weight would take you in the suit?
