I love heavy GMs. Only started them relatively recently, but I've already noticed a carryover in my deadlift lockouts.

Do you do them belted? I was surprised at how much difference it made with a belt to be honest.

i do wear a belt on heavy good mornings but this is mainly down to a confidence aid, i am getting on a bit and do not want an injury, the belt is not tight and feel it does not aid in my lifting

just an update now, squats tonight and after a bit of a reality check have decided to move up to the 110kg class, am finding it real hard to maintain 100kg (current 102kg) and i am suffering come friday with lack of energy, at least now i have the chance to start the protein shakes, aim for the 110kg and if the need arises can cut at the end...also suprising after some research that the stage i am at now i am very close to some master records for the east midland division, so will be looking at taking them come next april

squats last night, very hot and humid

started on trebles up to 220kg

single 240kg easy

single 250kg easy than one before

long long long long rest and went for a pb of 270kg, it was there to be nailed but missed the lift out of the hole....was cursing for ages. went to low/deep......first miss of the year, was gutted

gonna cut back now as been heavy all year so far and work on box squats with bands, will be fun

finished with drop sets on hack squats and legs were in pieces....

minor set back but the weight felt good

bench tonight, we decided to stick a couple of knots in the bands and make them tighter, made a huge difference,

trebles up to 120kg with purple bands, decided to get the shirt on to see where i am at,,

singles 140kg, 160kg, 165kg all quite easy, the shirt is still loose so will only aid as i grow...i am sure i would have had the 170-175 even a 180kg tonight but the joints were giving grief by then

incline close grip bench worked up in sets of ten to 100kg

a good session , main aim was to see where i am at with the shirt, want to add another 20kg by comp date which i think is do able as the shirt gets tighter...

deads last night, worked up to an easy 220kg so still more to come, would have done more but had no skin left on my hands (new bar)

lat pulldowns, did these to aid bench

shrugs, tried out on a different machine worked up to 120kg on machine....

felt very tired but think the session proved positive........still annoyed about missing the squat on monday and now getting bad doms in the chest from wednesday

box squats tonight with green bands, triples up to 180kg singles on 200kg and 220kg, these felt good, was playing around with a wider stance which actually felt good, finished with 230kg very easy normal squat.........good session apart from the gym being like a sauna

bench, all treblesx2 up to 120kg again, felt easier than last week, single with shirt at 140kg, 150kg, just could not lock out 170kg, bench shirt is fitting better now but could do with a size down still

deads, warmed up increasing in 20kg plates for trebles, tried the squat suit for heavy work, which was very weird as i have never used it before, everything was raw

220kg was easy, 240kg went up well (new pb this year) failed at 250kg

have not got used to the suit yet, so not pulling evenly and solidly, just need practise....was very happy with the lifts and sure 250-260 will come quite quickly

Good stuff. I have a Titan DL suit but have done little work in it yet. I tired pulling in my Titan Cent but could hardly get down and tech was terrible!

I think so. The DL suit seems less robust than my Cent and dosn't have the stitched quad 'slings' / 'support' that the Cent has running down from the straps. No idea what if anything I can get out of it yet? As it's of the floor thats weak I should be able to get something out of a suit.
