Hello mate

Just wondering, are you still at the GP stage or have you been referred?

Hey Drew!

Still at the gp stage. They cannot decide whether is actually is psoraisis or not, some seem to think it is and others think its excema.

I was given betnovate a few days ago which is making a difference!

Do you have it?

ps. enjoying red fox!

update -

hurt my back a bit doing 90kg OH - seen the physio. I've got to be honest i have absolutely no confidence in any of the physio's i have seen. Im sure my problems are muscular imbalance/posture related but physio's just seem to ignore that however much i go on about it.

I'm tempted to see a chiro now, but im worried about wasting more money.

I can say that the only things that have helped my back are things i've worked out for myself and stuff i've read online.

soooooooo frustrating. I just want to be able to exist without constant aching.

Drew do you have any experience with chiros?

training was a bit different today

Decline cgbp - worked up to 100kg, then back to 90kg, then a back off with 60kgx20
narrow dips ss band extensions
face pulls ss push ups ss push up plus (serratus push up)
BB curls
Plate holds

cheers

Tom

Not much to report really.

Training has been dodgey for one reason or another.

Did some Jerking with a friend the other day (lol<<<) and it just reinforced what ive felt for a few weeks now - i want to go back and do OL stuff again. I would not hesitate if my body was not so messed up.

Physios have done nothing to help, so im going to try a chiro and take things from there.

I dont like training for body image, messes with my head wayyyyyyy to much for my liking.

anyhoo - may not be training for a little bit as my body's not feeling too clever and i have to get it sorted.

so...

If anyone knows any excellent chiros or anyone that can take a indepth look at me and where all my injury problems are coming from please let me know!

Im based in the midlands atm.

Just dropped by Tom,

Damn impressive mass you've put on mate, keep up the good work. I agree with the others that you look lean enough to put a little more mass on, or do a short cut

Take it easy

Cheers Rich!

Yeah im still "bulking" but its not really extreme bulking - im ~87kg atm.

I'll be honest im not sure where the hell i want to go with my training.
- continue the quest for size
- Start olympic weightlifting exclusively
- lose fat
etc...

Im lost, lol.

All the best

Tom

Thanks mate!

Im focusing mainly on technique atm rather than weight.

Its difficult to say as ive not focused soley on it but i think if you trained hard in the OL lifts and ate well you would not only build a great physique but some insane strength too.

Check out these boys!

The chinese lifters throw in some assistance stuff to i believe.

Tom

That's a good effort on the pikes.
There's a vid of me doing pikes and other hanging abs stuff in my journal if anyone doesn't know what they are.

60x3
60x3
70x2
70x2
80x2

80x5

OMG, this is embarrasing. If im honest ive not squatted in ~6 months and not consistantly squatted for over a year due to the back probs i mentioned before. Anyhoo its safe to say they suck!

Actually this makes no sense i can lunge more than i can front squat wtf.

Hang clean
60x3
70x3
70x3

ripped a callous off which im used to from the rowing days but then i started bleeding so thought i should stop.

Pull throughs
stack x15
stack x15
stack x15
stack x15

very short rest here

GHR
body
x12
x10
x8
x7

Plate pinch

2x10kg plates per hand xmax
2x10kg plates per hand xmax
1x10kg & 1x15kg plates per hand xmax
1x10kg & 1x15kg plates per hand xmax

box jump

80cm box x3
80cm box x3
80cm box x3
80cm box x3

put another on top to make ~ 130cm looked at iut and though - not a chance

pikes
10
5

a token effort

finished with a filthy sweaty and chalk cover t-shirt and a massive grin! excellent. Had a chat with some of the guys and came home.

Off to dublin tomorrow for 2p return (tax included)

That's an awesome session mate. Don't worry about the squats, just build them back up slowly, how is the back now?

Oh and enjoy dublin
