Beloved DOMS, how I miss thee!!!! You must be feeling great today? And why not have a swim and a jacuzzi? Sounds perfect to me I'll try and stay out of your journal tonight, could barely sleep last night due to fits of giggling at the madness.................or maybe I'll have a quick sneaky look

I feel fanbloodytastic !! I think I'll enjoy my swim & Jacuzzi tonight ... hopefully I'll be able to get back to my Pump & Attack classes soon as well ! I'm sure I woke the neighbours up last night laughing lol !

I didn't do my swimming last night *slaps herself* I got home from work and I was so damn exhausted I lay down and fell asleep !! I weighed myself this morning though and for the first time in WELL over a year I dipped under 8 stone yipeeee !! Got my second split tonight, really looking forward to it. My back and neck are feeling fine apart from some DOMS in my back so I'm really pleased with that I think another couple of weeks to get myself better and I can launch back into my classes !

I recommend 4 sets of 12 (personally I use 5 x 5 but I'm a veteran of slapping myself silly, ocassionally instead of the slapping I may do 3 hard sets of kicking my own ass, really feel the burn with that one). But yes, slapping is a good substitute for swimming. 40 calories per slap. Osagi

lets not get into that old debate about if machine or free hand slaps are better anyway i injured my back free hand slap so now have to use the slap machine.

These guys just get better Wouldn't worry about missing the swimming, sounds like you needed the rest anyhow so ease back into it and see how it goes. Started the 2 day split thing yesterday too (day off for me today ) was a little strange as I've been used to 4 or 5 day splits, think it will take a little getting used to. But I did enjoy it so glad you posted originally getting the recommendation from Kitty or I probably wouldn't have considered it. Cheers So how was today's training?

Really enjoyed tonight .. so glad I got the advice to get some proper weights chucked in, I'm loving it ! Here's what I did tonight, again please feel free to laugh at the weights ! Legs :- Lunges 3*8 @ 15kg Squats 3*8 @ 17kg Chest:- Bench Presses 3*8 @9.6kg Flys 3*8 @ 5.5kg per DB Triceps:- Skullcrushers 3*8 @ 7.2kg Bench Dips 3*8 @ own body weight I also printed off a table and laminated it and stuck it up in the gym, I left the weights column blank so I can rub it out as I increase

You loving those lunges? Lunges are one of my favourite things apart from monkeys and chocolate Great stuff on the dips too, to this day I still can't do unassisted dips Right, looks like Wednesday is day off for both of us, see you here same time next week?? Have posted in female to try and get my routine back in gear (expect Kitty to kick my arse into shape) so thanks for motivating me to give it a shake up

RAAAAAAH !!!! Go us !!! Together we are TEAM MONKEY !!! hehe The dips are off a step not proper ones ... I tried doing full ones using a stand but I failed miserably hehe .... what are the ones off the edge of something called ?
