Meh, what he said - that'll do

Well aren't I releived! Tried so many times with unassisted dips and get so frustrated. Yep with you on the bench dips though, and do like those.

Had a good workout last night, hopefully my neck will be better enough next week so I can add in my shoulder work. My neck actually feels fine at the moment but I just want to give it a little longer to make sure

I'll up my weights next week !

Got back into it last night and did my shoulders for the first time, the good news in my neck so far isn't hurting yay !

I did Lat Rasies and DB Shoulder Presses, get ready to laugh ........ 2.5kg each

I did up my SL Deadlifts and B/O Rows to 17Kgs so I'm quite pleased with that

Hope to get back doing my cardio classes next week

Glad to hear the neck isn't giving you grief, but I wouldn't go all out just yet!

2.5kg with good form is a lot better than the flapping technique that most people seem to employ

Good to see you're back into it Welsh Bird

Totally agree with Jam about your form being more important, you see it all the time with the guys in the gym. And again you're making progress and have injuries to think about so we'll have less of the putting yourself down please!

Are you joining me today in Wednesday-day-off?

Yeah all going well thanks. Really enjoying my training again now that I've got a routine back on track, thanks to a few of you bods for motivating me training and diet-wise
My poor little Ipod is working hard with me doing more cardio, but received some positive comments recently too that I'm looking better so that's always a nice boost

Hope the evening was a good one yesterday?? And yeah you definitely don't need to worry about the weights, you're doing great.

Glad to hear it Lisa !

I've slipped a little this week :/

Had to do a store visit with work yesterday and I was knackered so skipped it and was going to train tonight instead but ... it's legs night and I'm going to Alton Towers tomorrow and I don't want the DOMS when I'm walking all over the place so I'm going to skip it and start fresh from next week.

Back and Neck have been fine so from next week my routine will be as follows :-

Monday - 1 Hour Body Attack followed by 30 mins swimming
Tues - Weights Split 1 ( Biceps / Back / Shoulders )
Wed - Rest
Thurs - 1 Hour Body Pump followed by 30 mins swimming
Fri - Weights Split 2 ( Triceps / Legs / Chest )
Sat - Rest
Sun - 1 Hour Body Attack

That outta do it !! ...

Hi Welshy,

Good journal hun and I wish you the best of luck, you have a great frame to start with and even though you feel you have "slipped" you are not that far out, nothing a wee push wont cure....I will keep my eye on this

I have just realised I work not far from you.....in fact I was looking to move to Braintree....hmmm I feel a though coming on

Anyway I am kick starting a journal this week for the mighty come back and maybe we can sort a little joint training sessions out once I get back into the swing of it??

Hey Claire, thanks for popping in !

If you do move to Braintree please let me know and maybe we could work out together ?

Meant to be at Body Attack tonight but I have a headache and loud pounding music isn't going to help - it's not the usual instructor tonight either and she always has the music on so loud I come out with my bloody ears ringing !

Weights tomorrow ! wohooo !!!
