Depending on my schedule for next year I might be able to make it down for the weekend. Obviously don't know about comps for next year but if I'm free I'll try and get down and give out some pointers. I think it's a great idea to do something like this to get more people involved in the sport.

Cool, July you say! i will be on my summer holz in scotland then. Prob with not alot to do (unless i get a job) i would like to come, only prob is i am a bit scared to commit as i cant be sure of family plans etc... Guess i can always come and just watch and meet some of the folks, which would be awesome! would like to enter, despite the likely hood of coming last, lol.

ORIGINAL: strongman equipment Lads if you sort out your budget, dates and numbers I'll go round the pubs / hotels in the area and do what i can to find a venue, accomodation etc. Let me know. As for stones , Yes It will all be here and may well feature in the loading medley. Keep in mind everyone you have no reason to be concerned about weights, It won't be heavy and on the day EVERYONE will do better than they think they will. (Plus if big Terry Hollands puts in an appearance to instruct you will have no choice but to do well ) This is a taster comp that I hope will take many of you on to novice comps in the near future. this sounds so AWESOME, i gotta go! lol
