Hey up buddy how are things?

Your lift look on par with your big bro mate. Do you 2 compete against eachother at all?

Are you looking to cut when you get your diet sorted or bulk?

Adam

Hello mate, don't really compete cause he is quite far ahead of me in reality but I don't begrudge him cos he has been at it longer! It does give me a kind of bench mark though, something to aim for. Because he's always moving forward it always gives me something to chase, which is good!

Absolutely bulk, I do have a bit of fat around my midriff, but to be honest that doesn't bother me too much, just every now and then I get a bit annoyed! I want to put on some good mass before I cut down and see how skinny I am!

Tuesday

Seated DB Press --- 3x8 @ 20kg [These were a right struggle, definitely up the reps next week!]
Lateral Raises --- 3x15 @ 7.5kg
Rear Delt Machine --- 10 @ 35kg, 2x12 @ 28kg (28kg felt much better, like I was getting a better ROM)

CG Bench --- 9,6,4 @ 72kg [waaay down on last time, bout time I stalled on these if I'm honset!]
DB Extension --- 12,11,10 (?) @ 25kg

FAO Bigtime!

I just had a look see if you had a journal, but I can't seem to find one so I'll just post here if you happen across it!

I was just wondering, what sport are you into at the mo? How's your training helped it so far?

Just interested

Hey mate i did have a journal about 1 year ago but got injured so sacked it off.

The sport im now training to persue is football. Before i got injured i played top level football. Then gained weight got depressed blah blah blah lol so now im at uni i want to impress and hopefully become pro standard as i know i certainly have the skills just 4 stone + overweight lmao.

Adam.

P.S. i forgot your real name lol.

It's Toby

Wow, must have been really good! What type of training do you do for that, other than football training? I assume a lot of cardio - any plyometrics? Are your weights geared toward speed etc?

TBH, I think it's kinda like riding a bike if you're good at something. Just need to get back into the swing of it!

Bloody hell everytime i try and think of your name i always come up with Timmy or Tommy.

Anyway i have just come to start playing again after nearly 2 years off and gaining muscle so im waiting to see what James has planned for me as i am getting a training routine from Healthy Action.

I myself do stupid amounts of cardio right now to get rid of the fat and to get my fitness up. For my sixe my fitness is ok but theres plenty of room for improvement.

I got dragged into playing for my local pub team last week so that was good, playing my first game in 2 years lol. I was breathing out my arse i was that ****ed lol. Was good to kick a ball though. Still had the awareness and im still hot on y feet but just a big fat mess right now lmao.

Toby do you participate in any sport other than boxing training?

That's ok, I got called Simon the other day!

That's good, sounds like it's all coming along, and having an aim is really good!

Not much tbh mate, boxing training is just for fitness really.

I'd quite like to get involved in rugby, because I remember enjoying it back at school and I enjoy watching it. Problem is I'm not fit at all and I've never really played it properly, so I'd be starting out as a complete amateur! Plus, finding hours in the week is a bit of a problem at the minute!

lol Simon.

Yeah i know what you mean about trying things you like. Football was my life and after 2 years off i thought it was time to get over my fear and play again.

If you like rugby why not take it up in place o boxing?

I know what you mean about not having enough time n your hands to do certain sports. The sports i like are
Snooker/pool
Rugby
Football
golf
cricket
temmin/badminton
Snowboarding

so trying to fit everything in is impossible.

Didn't have a chance to do legs or chest last week, and won't have a chance to do legs this week either. Ah well!

Monday
Deadlifts --- 2x8 @ 117kg
DB Rows --- 3x10 @ 35kg
Lat Pulldowns --- 3x8 @ 70kg

I tried using NOXplode today, but I went straight in for 3 scoops 30 minutes before training.

To be fair I did feel stronger at all exercises! Whether that can be attributed to the NOXplode or no is a different matter... But, after the heavy exercises I felt light-headed and a bit sick, hence only 2 sets of deadlifts - I nearly fell over after that last set!
