Ant - Yeah, things are slowly moving forwards.

I do plan on going back on the 'shake' diet at some point, but not going to start into until im comfortably back into the swing of it all and have improved from my current standard.

Ceratinly for the main i expect to just continue as i was, protein shakes blended with Weetabix, supplemented fats, and then normal food at the weekends.

#### This morning i've done 30 minutes at a fairly steady pace on my exercise bike.

Phew... nearly a month since my last journal post!

Anyhow, not much has happened except a general laziness towards training, etc...

This week has seen, yet again, the beginning of getting back on track.

Tue 11th March

AM - 30 minutes on my exercise bike.
PM - Chest.

Flat Barbell Bench Press

20 reps with 60kg (warm up)
7 reps with 100kg
6 reps with 100kg
4 reps with 100kg
2 reps with 105kg

Wed 12th March

30 minutes on my exercise bike.

Thur 13th March

PM - 30 minutes on my exercise bike followed by very brief back workout.

Wide Grip Chins

10 reps
8 reps

Well i know it's not a lot at all, but it's better than nothing. Now i'm looking forward to next week.

chrismac - Cheers! I've been back into then out of it, then into it too many times now! Lol! This time i'm planning on staying!!

Compared to my avatar, in a like for like pic, i look a little more fleshy, chest looking flatter and not so pumped (although avatar was taken around 30-60mins after a chest workout) ....also far less tan!

Eddie - Hi, things going ok. Just been out of the whole training thing for a bit .....no real excuse other than laziness. I feel good for getting something done this week, and i feel pretty positive about next week.

Good stuff mate, glad to see motivation is still there. I pulled just over 4 plates a few weeks back, looking to get 5 before July if possible as i have ZERO leg drive which i need to fix

Got some 90+ recently,. not too wild about the taste but add in a few splenda tabs and some orange essence and it tastes awesome, choc orange shake anyone

How do bud, i find just having a whey/water/weetabix/peanut butter shake once a day as a meal seems to work ok, plus whey and water and extrose pwo if I'm doing weights that day. I usually have it for second meal of the day

Eddie - Yeah motivation is still there .....just! Lol!

Nice going on the deadlifting! .....last time i remember i'm sure you were just hitting around 3 plates!??

Rodge - Alright fella! Yeah i would agree that could work nicely alongside a suitable diet. Although i'm still keen to get back onto what i was doing previously with the shakes ....just i expect it to be a little while yet. Not going to be risking that until i'm nicely back into the swing of things.

chrismac - ....so will i!!

8 reps with 100kg
6 reps with 100kg

Once again it was just a relatively brief workout, although there were some decent enough improvements on last weeks.

Cheers RACK!

Today was another brief workout, but enough to keep things slowly moving forward.

Did 10 minuttes on the stationary cycle, mainly as a warm up.

Then moved onto...

Wide Grip Chins

10 reps
9 reps
8 reps
6 reps

Again, it's not a huge amount but still a steady improvement on last weeks.

Well, bit of a let down for the start of the week.... managed to hurt my hand at work on Sunday and it's now quite sore when i try to grip tightly.

Started off working chest tonight, did...

Flat Barbell Bench Press

20 reps with 60kg (warm up)
7 reps with 100kg

....and gave up there. I felt like crap to start with and then my hand was hindering me on top of that.

Just going to do some cardio for the rest of this week.
