Fair enough. The lat spread in you avatar looks good! Be sure to get some current pictures up, even if out of shape! Should be good motivation to improve, thats what i found at least with my journal.

Weight first thing this morning 15s 10lbs,going to weigh myself every saturday morning, target weight is between 13.7 -14 stone but i'm in no rush to get there slow and steady, legs pretty sore today quite nice really. This pic is my bodyfat goal and was taken a week after my summer hols,i was a touch leaner but i made a pig of myself over the hols, this is the sort of bodyfat i'm happy with, once i go lower than this i look ill in the face. no training today. Diet so far breakie-Cheese omelette, cherry toms, granery bread, coffee. mid morning-whey skim milk powder, packet of oatcakes, banana lunch-chicken salad sarnies, flapjack, banana, coke zero mid afternoon-2x mackrel,2x granery bread coffee. Tea,picnic, this is something we do on a sat night instead of a takeaway,we get healthy nibbles from the supermarket to eat with a movie, pre cooked chicken pieces, brocoli, carrots, humous, granery stick,nuts/seeds,grapes,wholewheat crackers, cheese, bottle of wine to share. supper ?

Look pretty good in that second picture. Good luck with the weight loss. You've certainly got the right idea "slow and steady"

Well planning on doing it in stages, cutting most of the junk out and just eating cleanish combined with my job will cause a drop in some of the flab, once that grind to a halt i will start regular cardio which i havn't done in about 3 months, closer to summer strict diet and daily cardio.

Another journal I can relate too ! I will definately be following this one.Loving the waist measurement comment , if it's any comfort I reckon mine will be 40" when I measure it tomorrow. I'm hoping to cut too, so hopefully following your journal might help me stay motivated. Good to see a believable diet as well , I'm gonna do the exact same thing in terms of just cutting out junk at first then adding cardio when I need it. Few quick questions - What shift pattern do you work ? How much protein do you roughly aim for in a day ? Do you find family life makes cutting difficult ? I was reading the line at the start of your journal that went something like " as I was walking down the stairs at 5am I felt an ache in the soul" , I thought you were gonna say something profound about the plight of the shift working family man but you were just going on to moan about a pain in your foot

Diet i'm going to post what i eat,i enjoy my food,i do eat junk, enjoy a drink, why lie about it.I have a normal evening meal with my missus and kids when on a day shift, closer to the summer i will be stricter with that though. Shifts are days and lates,7am-3.18pm and 4.40pm-12.53am,we can also be given SNOT at any time up to a max of 1.15 mins ,2 breaks a shift 15 and 30 mins exactly. Couldn't tell you exactly how much protein a day about 300g give or take,i just aim at a decent size portion with each meal. Family life makes training difficult fullstop but on a cut more so,one thing i do is on a day shift is take the kids out for long walks,i burn a few hundred cals and the kids are knackered and in bed early

You`ve got some serious amounts of ink there Trebor! Do you have any close up,clearer shots of some of it? Are you going for a full body suit?
