wednesday 3/8/07 chest/ triceps..and threw in some cleans :) all lbs flat dumbell press 50x12, 65x10, 85x10, 100x8 incline dumbell press 65x10, 65x10, then 50x10 flys cleans 135x5, 135x5, 155x5, 175x3, 195x3, 210x1, 230x1 fail, repeat..again fail french press with dumbell 65x10, 80x10, 90x10, 110x7..or 8 ?? cable presdowns rope 120x10, w short bar 150x10, 150x10, 160x10 hypers, no weight 15 reps situps on ball 1x15 roman chair leg raise 1x15 finish

FRIDAY 3.9.07 LEGS/SHOULDERS Leg press 3 plates perside x 12, 4x12, 5x10. 6x12, 7x10 leg ext 4x10 (120, 150,x180, 200lbs) standing barbell press 135x5, 135x5, 135x5 dumbell side laterals 30x10, 35x10, 40x10 no direct hamstring work...feling tiredish More NEWS - There a full power or single lift comp coming in less than5 weeks within a hour of my house. I'm seriously considering going and doing deadlift only. I have not put my bench shirt on since Oct 06, nor squatted suited. Masters record will be replaced

Monday 3.12.07 Back/ Shoulders Rack Pulls 3.5" below knee(pin setup and using a 3.5" platform 135x10, 225x10, 315x5, 405x5, 495x3, 585x3, 635x1 broke out straps 705x1 fail kicked out platform..bar now on bottom of knee 705x1, 725x1..matches PB from that position seated rows 150x10, 160x10, 180x10, 200x10 (first 5 to lower torso, last 5 to upper) lat pulldowns 150x10, 160x10, 180x10 seated dumbell presses 50x10, 50x10, 60x10 barbell shrugs 135x10, 135x10, 225x10, 315x10 finish

wed 3.14.07 chest/triceps Flat bench barbell//first time in 2007 ! 135x10, 135x10, 185x8, 205x8, 225x5, 245x5, 275x1, 300x1..left it there.. dumbell incline press 50x10, 75x10, 80x10, 90x8 cable pressdowns 3x10 cable crosses 2x10 dumbell french press 75x10, 85x10, 90x10, 110x8 incline bench machine press(using handles on side) 150x8, 200x8, 250x5, 300x5, 350x3, 400x3(stack) this is easier than reg bench..obviously finish

3.16.07 leg/shoulders I am doing a spontaneous powerlift comp in less than a month and still undecided whether to try full power, or just dead only. I have not done a max on squat, nor bench sinceOct 06..soI thought I would test the waters tonight to see if I had lost too much. squats 135x8, 135x8, 225x6, 275x6, 335x5, 375x3, 405x1..pretty tough..but maybe could of hit 3. straps up 455x1, quite heavy, but a little more to give..next week will try again..if I can't nail at least a 500..I'm not going to bother full power front squat....I just cannot get comfortable with this as of yet...hurts my wrist..I basically am not really holding the bar in my grip..sorting of just pinching onto it 135x5, 155x5, 165x5..tough and awkward leg ext one legged 4x10 leg curls 3x10 shrugs 135x10, 225x8, 315x8, 405x5, 495x5 no more shoulders..likely going to hit the log press this weekend

3.19.07 back/shoulders deadlifts 135x8, 225x8, 275x8, 315x5, 365x5, 425x5, 500x7..then after about 45 secons catching my wind I placed the bar back in the rpower rack standing push press 95x8, 135x5, 155x5, 170x5...matches PB then 185x3, slight assist needed to finish 4=5th rep..next week its mine! good mornings barx10, 105x10, 195x10, 195x8 or so.. lat pulls with V bar to upper chest 3x10 one handed deadlifts with my new appartii, only a standard handle for now as my thick rolling handle is not built yet. 80x5, 115x5, 165x5, 200x3, 235x1, 270x1 all one handed with chalk grabbed bar handle..without the handle..just the end of 2.5" bar and plates stacked below 80x5, 115x3 each hand plate flips.. first time with this 25lb x8 per hand, 35x8 same, 45x6 two handed..easy did 3 or 4 each hand with one hand..some I just slowed down, some I stopped from hitting floor. Very tough workout..and really pooped.

3/22/07 Its an off day, but I grabbed my log after my stepson and his friend tried it...surprisingly his friend whom is about 225 lbs, but does not train presses one rep...it only 67.5kg log empty.. I did 5 reps- Then they each tried my 260-270lb stone...neither one wa even close LOL I placed it twice to my 50+" platform...got a little soreless in my low back today..nothing major. Likely go without squats today and try leg press, SLDs instead..or GMs..light ! Then a light bacl day on Monday, so I can train with my old team for a max dead on Friday..

BOAR - Maybe "we" can persuade you to cross over to Strongman From the looks of it though you going to set some big numbers in PLfting they way your going. I refuse to let you beat me on all lifts !!! Time to get the deadlift up to keep you at a distance

LOL, strongman holds a certain interest tom, but i have a fascination with numbers, big numbers. you are the deadlift meister,but keep an eye on the boar - 600lb next then onto 300kg's !!

600 was a milestone for me..and TBH not made much progress lately on em Strongman seems to better suit me atm cause its less easier to get bored...

Skipped Friday leg day on moving them to Monday so I can balls to walls max deads on Friday..comp in 2 weeks Although I did a fair bit of heavyt stuff this weekend !! Moved 6 large filing drawers...twice! Cleaned gutters on house, mowed grass, cut a couple fallen limbs, worked on stepsons car, some more honey do's...Only productive thing I did was got me a 16" stone in a homemade mold and finished Rolling Thunder deadlift handle

Max Dead night..comp in 2 weeks Going to get some vids of the possible 10+ lifters going to comp and possibly compose vids into a mega vid. Hopefully will post vids this weekend..I really don't know what to expect from myself...not maxxed a conventional dead since October 06...I did max a rack pull though I'm hoping I can still pull a 600 Strongman News- Bought me some solid 3" steel rods, 2" steel and some angle flat iron....I will take this and the few pieces of knurled Olympic bar I have and construct some farmers implemnts ! The sled will follow Now all I need is a place to put the stuff - I'm really considering getting one of these steeel carports (20'x21'x8'high) This will be a start then I can finish framing and add siding to the open sides..I need a dry, dirt free area to train stones, log, grip, etc...

Should be aiming for 280kg at least, 500x7 should have that in the bank. Do you get 3 attempts like at a PL meet?

Why you got one for sale ? I payed $65 for my titan in 2004..$147 IS $$$$, but if I knew I could get even 10kgs and be legal in single ply fed..it would be worth it! Friday 3.30.07 DEADS...and only deads 135x8, 135x8, 225x5, 315x5, 365x3, 425x1, 465x1, 515x1, 565x1, 605x1..it was tough..but I was not 100% TBH I believe I have a 280kg in me Maybe with one of them fancy Metal Deadlifter suits I have a 300kg in the cards...?????
