Another absolute beauty of a workout!!

Squat - 8x115, 8x115, 8x117.5, 8x120 (owww!!)
SLDL - 8x97.5, 8x100
DL - 8x100, 5x120
BOR - 8x57.5, 8x57.5, 7x57.5 + (1/2 rep grrrr couldnt get it)
Curl - 40x8, 40x6 (+ 1 cheat to 7 reps)

Again, every lift is up from last time, so at this rate should be making some good gains!!
Just gotta keep eating I think!

will take pictures soon aswell to compare, I've wacked on a bit of fat recently I think.

Weight is 175lbs

lol no worries mate, u've made some bare gains!!

28/01/07

A pretty quick workout, some good weights pressed, thought I'd experiment with my bench strength...

Bench press - 90x8, 90x8, 100x2, 105x1, 110 failed (rubbish!!)
Dumbell shoulder press - 22.5x8, 25x7, 25x5
Tricep pulldowns - 70x6, 60x8, 60x8;

Not bad workout, I'm trying to batter my shoulders because they are lagging...Any ideas anyone?!

OWWWWW!!! Another lover of a workout

Deadlift - 5x110, 5x130, 5x130, 5x130 (have summa that - next week 135)
SLDL - 102.5x6, 102.5x4 (back was rinsed from the deadlifting)
Bent over rows - 8x60, 8x60, 7x60 (****in close to the full 3 x 8, well annoying!!)
Concentration curls - 8x15, 8x15

The good news is the deadlift. The weight is going up nicely. Couldn't squat today cos I've got marathon training tomorrow. Well annoying trying to bulk and run a marathon at the same time!!

Another bangin workout, it's going good at the moment!

After following advice from a few chaps about changing the rep scheme now and again to help busting plateaus I've dropped my bench down to 4x6. Here are the figures for today:

04/02/07

Bench press - 6x92.5, 6x92.5, 6x92.5, 5x92.5
Db Shoulder press - 8x25, 8x25, 5x25
Skullcrushers - 8x42.5, 8x45

Will try bench press at 95kg next week
Will try and finish all reps on DB shoulder press at the same weight
Will try 2 sets at 45kg on skullcrushers

Trouble is mate i've started to cut now (first time i've ever done this) so i dont know what to expect but apparently your strength can drop for obvious reasons i.e not as many carbs.kcals but we'll see hopefully i can keep increasing the weight i'll keep you posted....not that i'm wimping out or anything

LOL yeah I have a bit of muscle memory from the past, although I don't remember doing 5 reps at 140, I think that might be a new PB.

According to the one rep max calculator my 1 RM is now about 160kg...So my target of 160kg for five might take a while!!!

Bring it on baby - another good workout.

Bench press - 95x6, 95x6, 95x6, 95x4
Db Shoulder press - 25x8, 25x8, 27.5x7
Skulls - 45x8, 45x8
Abs

well it's looking good. Strength is still going up, next week I'll bust 97.5 for 6 on the bench press. Won't get all sets out but the week after I will hopefully. DB shoulder press felt good, up on last week. Skullcrushers form was a bit wayward might drop the weight and build back up for next week.

All in all good workout.

14th February 07

Gave the gym some valentines love!!

I can't pull a girl so I might aswell pull a bar with some heavy weight on instead.

Awesome workout again owww!! Rinsed some chalk from the local climbing shop ... damn that stuff makes a different to my grip!! Held on to the 140k deads no problem this time, usually it starts to slip.

Deadlifts - 5x140, 5x140, 4x142.5, 2x142.5
SLDL - 8x102.5, 8x102.5 (lovin it)
Bent over rows - 8x62.5, 8x62.5, 6 (so close to 7) x 62.5
Con curls - 8x17.5, 8x17.5

So next week SLDLs are up and so are concentration curls.

Deadlift we'll try and get 5x140 for 2 sets and then 5x142.5 for 2 sets

Bent over rows will try and get 3 sets of 8 reps @ 62.5.

I'm hungry!
