OWW!! Another awesome workout

28th February 2007

Deadlifts - 5x145, 5x145, 4x145, 5x140
SLDL - 8x107.5
Bent over Rows - 8x65, 7x65, 6x65
Curls - (both hands) 10x17.5, (right) 6x17.5 (left) 7x17.5

Weights are up on last week so have decided not to deload on the deadlifts.

Will go for 147.5Kg next week and take it from there until I can get 4 sets of 5 reps at 150KG. Bring it on!

as regards the rows weights, are you the same as me where you struggle to get a massive amount of weight on strictly - dont get me wrong theyre good weights but it pi55ed me off that i couldnt get anywhere near 100kg on these

keep up the good work

Lo mate

Yeah I am not very good at these, I do use pretty good form though making sure that I have a good angle at the hips. My bench v Row weight is at the moment unbalanced - 102.5kg x 5 versus 65 x 8....It is something I really need to work on.

As for 100kg, well that's a good couple of years away for me I think!! Unless I start bustin out some bad form reps!

I'll have a ganders at your journal later after footy - make sure you're still workin hard!

Lo Occy

Yeah tell me about it, that's why I hate cutting! Can't stand to lose weight on my lifts!

How's the cut going? Still sticking to it?

I'll pop in later and have a ganders

Another workout...Another PB :D

02/03/2007

Bench Press - 95x8 (pb), 97.5x7, 95x6 (****ed)
Dumbell Shoulder press - 27.5x8, 27.5x8, 30x6 (30kg in each hand seems pretty heavy but its time to start thinking about moving up)
Skullcrushers - 47.5x8, 47.5x7
Abs

Next week we'll go for 97.5x8 for the first set ... bring it on.

bench press 1RM is at the moment around 118kg. This is a 13kg (28.6 lb) increase from December 28th last year. Come on!

Lovin it.

Yes! Another PB tonight on the deadlifts. I'm loving it (although my girlfriend of 2 years dumped me. well annoying.)

07/03/07

Deadlifts - 6x145, 6x145, 5x145, 4x145
Bent Over Rows - 8x65, 8x65, 7x65 (grrrr)
Curls - 10x17.5 (both arms), 8x17.5(left) 7x17.5(right)
Cable curls drop set - ouch! (thought I'd try this for a laugh)

According to the 1rm calculator 145x6 should be about a 168k 1rm on the deadlift.
We'll go for 145x7 next week. That should be equivalent to 174. I'll be loving that.

**** me that was quite possibly my hardest ever session. Im shagged. I was tired going into the session, and think that may be why me weights weren't amazing

New PB though! :P

9/03/2007

Bench Press - 8x97.5 (pb), 6x97.5, 6x95, 8x80
Shoulder press - 9x27.5, 9x27.5, 9x27.5
Tricep dips (strapped in) - 8x84, 6x84

8x97.5 = about 121k 1RM on the bench. Loving it.

120K is rinsed, now time for 130. (Another few months!)

Kerr cheers mate for the deadlift comment..I'm trying to hit 160k for 5 reps at 5 sets before the end of the year. Roughly equals a 180k 1RM.
