Shoulder didnt like doing triceps today, really sore from lifting the bar into position to do some skullcrushers. think its gonna force me into seeing the doc again and getting a referall to a surgeon. god knows how long out of the gym that would be after the op. just depends on how long i can put up with the pain and not being able to do any sort of pressing movements at all. reason for just doing triceps is i need my gym fix and im running out of bodyparts to train! hahahahaha Skullcrushers 1 x 8 10k + bar 1 x 8 20kg + bar 1 x 8 30kg + bar (shoulder hurting) 1 x 6 35kg + bar 1 x 8 10kg +bar Up and down as im just trying to judge what weight my shoulder can handle. and 30kg is too much as im in agony now, oops! Cable pushdown 3 x 8 20kg Rope pushdown 3 x 12 10kg Not too bad a workout in the end then.

It is very hard to resist doing what you want. It is almost as if your brain is persuading you to be illogical and overlook the dangers. Hope you get something positive on this soon. Don't get much help with gym matters from G.P's. AL

thats what im finding out to be honest. hoping one of my friends may be able to get me in to see a consultant orthopedic surgeon to check out the shoulder. been going on for over 6 months now and its getting to the point where its starting to really get me down. strarting to realise the only way im going to get big is by working on the mind muscle connection when im lifting and really focus on the muscle being worked. as the weights im going to be shifting are going to have to be light to try and aleviate the injurys i seem to be prone to picking up. i wonder if it will work? or am i clutching at straws? i think maybe my goals will need to alter, maybe concentrate on getting really defined with a low body fat? just not something ive ever really wanted.

Well as im limited in the gym with what i can and cant train i joined the BICEP BOY brigade today for the first time, as in i only trained my biceps then left! Boy i had no idea what id been missing, LOL! Barbel curl (concentration) 3 x 8 15kg + bar reverse curl 3 x 8 15kg + bar Bent over concentration curl 2 x 10 10kg Dumbell And thats pretty much it, dont really need to do alot with my biceps as they are one of the few muscle groups that still get hammered as i can still do my back workouts as normal. So they will be done on indirectly on monday as well. Shoulder is quite painfull, even slight movement hurts. Even the bottle of rioja i had last night didnt even take the edge of the pain. Trying not to focus on it as much as possible and put it to the back of my mind, trying to focus on all the things i can do in the gym. God knows what ill end up looking like only training arms, legs and back! No pressing movements possible at all.

Hi mate got an order placed with myprotein for chondroitin, MSM and cissus. Had a look into them breifly and they all seem to be good products that fit the bill for what i need at the minute. So 2 months supply of each, ill reassess after then. Thanks for pointing me in there direction mouser. Hoping they will help

I'll post in here to keep you informed on my progress with Cissus as well. It's something I bought for my mum but I'll give it a go. I'll be using the USP labs stuff from bulkpowders, they've had a nightmare getting it through customs though!

Trained back tonight, was an okay session really looked pumped and good afterwards. Didnt manage any bent over rows as all the bars were taken. Lat pulldown 4 x 8 60kg Dumbell Row 4 x 8 24kg Lat pulldown palms towards 3 x 8 60kg Deadlift 1 x 8 60kg 1 x 8 70kg 1 x 6 80kg Very small rest periods involved, as the weights im using are really low due to injurys i need to find other ways of progressing at the weight im using and i think rest periods is a good one. However lifts are up on last week as i felt fine in the gym. No twinges or pain felt. BABY STEPS!!! hahahaha

Stick with it mate. Never under-estimate the value of doing something even if it is not as much as you'd ideally like.

I nearly killed in work today! we fininsh at 5, or should i say we stop getting paid at 5 and these bloody arse holes keep on working, no bloody life outside work so we never got out till 5:45m then 40 mins to get home. Not happy!!!!!!!! Will be phoning our HR department to find out what my rights are in just leaving if im not being paid! No one is arsed in the slightest with the boss being the worst ****ing culprit! My god im so mad!!!! TRICEPS TONIGHT Skullcrushers 1 x 8 20kg + bar 3 x 8 30kg + bar Cable pushdown 4 x 8 10kg Rope Pushdowns 4 x 8 6.25kg Good enough weight used on the skullcrushers, light on everything else as i was really squeezing my triceps as much as possible which really took it out of them, totally isolated though i think. Anyone know any jobs going in the liverpool area?

How were the skulls, any of the pain you got previously? I presume you're keeping to strict form, but even so it's easy to strain yourself I find. As for working hours, I used to be contracted for 49 hours, averaged ~ 60 and it sometimes went up to 75. Bonus of about 20% wasn't bad though and the hours are a feature of the industry I'm in (management consulting). Hopefully my new job won't be quite such a slave drive... Something I meant to write about cissus before, it's an analgesic as well as an anti-inflammatory agent/repair accelerator/anti-catabolic. Thus if you go hard you won't feel the pain you normally would, so be careful not to go to the point where you get pain as it's masked quite effectively.

The pain is still really bad on the skulls, as i clean the bar to my shoulder level with a reverse grip, as the bar gets to my shoulders ready for me to lie down on the bench is where its really bad. Any sort of weight at all in this position is agony. Not worked out how to do this yet and avoid that movement. Dragging the bar up me whilst lying down is fine but i still need to press it into position so im back to square one again! All my supps arrived today so hopefully ill start to notice them next week (presume it takes a while to kick in as such?) Fell off the wagon a bit last night with work, ended up out till after 2 am having been dancing all night in a gay bar (good music, only place open) Real good fun at the time however didnt feel to clever today, and still feel like **** now!

How about close grip barbell bench press? It'll work similar muscles without the effort to lift it into place initially... I've started on the cissus now, it was a pain to cap though, smells very herby, rather like incense

just got back from the gym. fairly light cv session, first in a very long time 10mins fast on the bike 10mins stepper 10mins rower The rower was difficult with my ankle so just did half a row if that makes sense, to try to keep my ankle stable in the strap, too much movement aggravated the ligaments too much. Going to try to do 2-3 sessions per week to get my fitness slowly back up then ill start on the HIIT again. Had the best fat loss ive ever had doing HIIT far and above better than SSC. Over in half the time as well!

Biceps and CV tonight, quite liked it, felt really good afterwards massive endorphin release. Feel really positive, motivated, happy! 3 x 8 BB Concentration curls 20kg + Bar 3 x 8 Seated DB Curls 8kg 3 x 8 Hammer curls 12kg 10mins bike V. fast + HIIT in there as well (ankle hurting) 10mins slow jog (ankle not sore at all) Couldnt be happier, weight has krept up over the weekend from too many carbs i think. The tattoo im going to get myself will be a reward for getting to 13stone i think. Going to be something to really motivate me and drive me on, something to look forward to as well. Oh, stopped smoking now for 2 weeks or there abouts, finally strting to cough up less crap! And maybe some movement on the job front! LIFE CAN BE GOOD!

No training at all tonight as im absoulutley knackered from work. really hard day today, no energy at all and a banging head all day so thought id give it a miss. think i need a new training program to shift the fat. need to loose a good few stone i think. as ive got so many injurys i may swop over to an abbreviated full body routine again so i can focus more on the cardio, get the cardio up to 5 sessions per week again, with weights just as a secondary. need to bite the bullet and lose some of the muscle i have and cut really hard. (as loosing a bit of a small amount isnt alot, if you get me!) hahahah CUT THE FAT HERE WE COME! SMALL AND TINY BRING IT ON! (hopefully)
