just been to do my legs, think im only gonna be able to do 4 work sets per exercise from now on due to time constraints i just dont have the time to spend 1hr1/2 in the gym 5 nights a week so this has cut it down to around 1hr 10 or so, 20 mins doesnt sound like much but ive got a set routine im stuck doing everynight lol ocd? hmmm maybe all i know is unless i follow the same routine i dont sleep that night.

Squat

1x8 20kg, 1x12 60kg, 1x12 60kg, 1x12 60kg, 1x12 60kg really nice feeling in the quads from these went nice and deep, loved them

LegCurl

1x12 105p, 1x12 105p, 1x12 105p, 1x12 105p all done with a pause nice and slow

leg extension

1x12 105p, 1x12 105p, 1x12 105p, 1x12 105p nice and slow with the last set done with a pause, really nice pump and could barely walk after

Calf Raise

1x20 140p, 1x20 140p, 1x17 140p, 1x20 140p had to use the leg press on these as the smith was chocca busy, didnt like it very much really painful in my feet and i wasnt able to blast my calves like i wanted to.

Good session there mate... I'm normally done in 45mins tops TBH...

Nice short rests during sets does it for me... keeps the intensity going IMO... Give it a go

pmsl @ the comedy alarm

Do you use a heart rate monitor mate?? So you know the zone at which you're burning fat... and not muscle...

i do have a heart rate monitor mate but without a metabolic/exercise test i think it would just be guess work with regards to my fat burning zone.

i just try and keep my heart rate at around 95bpm and will keep it at this for a few months and see how i get on, ill only be able to do it by trial and error i think as toxic's equipment is trashed and i know of no-where else to get the testing done

Keep it quiet mate...^^^

Mail TT about the metabolic testing - he pointed me in the right direction

Good to hear James is helping you with your diet... sound bloke and advice IMO

right second time posting this, the site crashed before!

Done my back tonight, had to use DB's though as someone had virtually bloody married the oly bar tonight in the gym they spent that much time holding the bloody thing! lol

Bent Over Row
(total weights, so 2x25kg DB's is 50kg)

1x12 20kg, 1x6 60kg(too heavy), 1x8 50kg, 1x8 50kg, 1x8 50kg, 1x8 50kg, 1x8 50kg really nice feel on these so ill probably include them more often i think. really nice contraction in my upper back

Lat Pulldown

1x8 90p, 1x8 90p, 1x8 90p, 1x8 90p grip wasnt too bad on these, my forearms were still burning though on completion of each set

Straight arm pulldown

1x10 50p, 1x10 50p, 1x10 50p, 1x10 50p Still not sure about this movement but ill carry on for a bit with it

Barbell Curl

1x12 20kg, 1x12 20kg, 1x5 20kg All done with super strict form, my upper arm perpendicular to the floor at all times and kept the tension on my biceps the whole time.]
Really tough move

he did reply mate but it wasnt the 'holy grail' i was looking for! lol just pretty much what i knew, most people do okay of 120-130bpm but he does really well off around 80.

So its all down to the individual(that is unless you would like to enlighten me?)

On a positive note ive recieved my diet form claire who works with james so im really looking forward to starting on it and it looks really good
This is an abbreviated version(ie i can mix it up alot shes given me loads of options and this is on off the ones ill proably mostly stick too for ease of preperation etc)

Wake 7:30 30g whey in water

Breakfast 8:00 30g porrige oats+skimmed milk+natural yoghurt +fresh fruit juice

Mid morning 10:30 100g tuna+low fat mayo+salad with olive oil+ fruit

Lunch 12:30 100g chicken + wholemeal pitta + salad an olive oil +fruit

3:30/4pm 120g sardines +wholemeal bread(shud be rice/pasta but i know ill never cook it lol) +nuts

PWO 6:30 30g whey in water (if weights)

Evening Meal 7:30 150g chicken/150g salmon +75g brown rice/100g wholemeal pasta (50g on non weight training days)

Before Bed 10pm 150g cottage cheese + ground flax seeds (10g)

Never been exited about i diet before, how sad is that! really looking forward to this though

Soulders workout tonight, really amazing pump after this workout my traps were poppin out! and delts were like boulders, god we can be vain sometimes lol

Military Press

1x10 20kg, 1x8 45kg, 1x8 45kg, 1x8 45kg, 1x8 45kg Just about completed these okay, last set were a few pushes in there so not all super strict

Rear Raise

1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg Really nice feeling in my delts off these

Lateral Raise

1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg, 1x8 7.5kg Didnt really connect with my side delts on these so not a great movement this week

Shrug

1x8 90kg, 1x8 90kg, 1x8 90kg, 1x8 90kg all done with a pause at the top and my grip was totally fine on these so im really made up, although my traps are really strong anyway
