its because my pecs look flabby still, i must be less 15%bf, wont no until next week when im back from spain. yea i wanna keep on bulking but not gain some fat belly.

before i was just concentrating on gaining weight, but i was thinking i dont look much more muscular. just wanna get bigger and be ripped, which i think is everyones aim. so ill keep cutting for a bit longer and start bulking again once i look a bit more ripped,

when i start bulking again in about a month ill be more careful not having piles of pasta not long before bed, downing huge bowls of soup before bed or a workout (to the point where id feel sick), going to the gym more often than when last bulking (high volume training every 5 days per major muscle) any days im not training ill reduce the carbs a bit since you dont need as much energy and keep ùp the 5-6 hours of cardio a week.

doing all of that should hopefully mean i dont put on too much fat

toward the end of may, my cousin should be coming down to train with me for a month and this is when ill start bulking again, so this will be a double journal for a month and at the start we will be taking measuements, bf %, pics. so we can acurately see how much muscle/fat weve gained in the bulk.

i wanna do a semi contact fight soon after so ill do a cut after this bulk, are fat metobolisers a waste of time?

Looking decent mate, you'll look awesome no doubt!

Cutting to 10% and bulking upwards sounds good. Getting to high in BF% may end up in stretch marks and generally feeling crap due to looking a bit tubby. I'm following a similar plan myself (Get abs, then bulk up!).

GL!

when i arrived from spain on may 9th i was about 10% bf, ive dropped down from 14.5 to 12 stone!!! my arms are 15.25" i think my diet was that bit too extreme meaning i lost muscle too, sometimes id burnt 600 calories on the bike and then only eat 1500 calories and do loads of weights too.

im training in boxing and when my coach thinks im ready ill do my first amatuer fight, im aiming for sept/oct. my aim in the end is to do mma or muay thai but i think boxing is a good place to start. found out today about 2 fighters i like having fights anounced. finally phil baroni and frank shamrock get to fight in june.

basically sit down with shoes, dorsi flex one foot, which is balancing the heel with the toes pointing up and place the other heel on top of that foot, then lower the bottom foot up and down using the top foot to control the resistance. i read the reason for shin splits is the strength of the soleus not being equal to the front, the will strengthen the front up. you can definitely feel it work on the front, i havent kept it up before, im gonna try and see if this is a cure

1st fight was impressive, looked like you just overpowered him. He would attack you with a kick which would do nothing to you then you would counter it with a load of punches. Didnt see you kick him at all, but your punches were great.

I found it entertaining. Well done in the victory!

edit: just watched the 2nd fight, dosent need a comment really.

The Chinese character on the far left is no, or not depending on the rest. Other than that pass.

You really need to work on your footwork and counters. The first fight he was wasting so much energy you could have won without even throwing a punch if your footwork was better. A definite hugger though!

Second fight once you realised the score it must have been very tempting to just wade in and pummel him into the middle of next week

Nice pics mate.

Well done again, you deserve full credit. You are looking good too, strong but much leaner and muscular than your previos photo where you had the spade.

thanks, whos that girl in your avatar looks really familiar?

it means no fear btw

me looking happy after my first fight, you can just see the blood in nostril... he didnt even hit me that hard but i had been sparring with the best trainer in the camp 2 days before and he kicked me really hard on the nose and it was still fragile, dont really train 2 days before a fight since you cant improve your strength or fitness in that time
