Sel's journal UPDATED-LOST OVER 22LBS OF FAT-PICS PG4 - 12 February 2007 15:53
Hi, I read these forums regularly to increase my knowledge, however I do not tend to post regularly. I have been lifting for a good couple of years now, and have made some impressive gains. I was absolutely minescule when I started at age 18, and have bulked up considerably, through eating like a nutcase and working my ass off in the gym. I have come to a point where I am relatively happy with my size (my girlfriend says that my arms are getting too big, lol), but wish to shed the excess fat which has built up, in order to expose my abs and veins on my arms ready for summer:). Apparently I am unable to upload pictures at this point due to my insufficient post count. I will do so as soon as I can.

I am doing this to aid motivation, as I seem to be addicted to eating crap!

I shall post my progress and diet at the end of each day.(hopefully)

cheers for reading; watch this space.

good luck sir! sounds like you've put in some good work over the past couple of years. i'm sure if you can bulk up like that then you'll soon adapt to cutting no probs.

my girlfriend says that my arms are getting too big, lol

Good luck with the cut.

What are your current stats?

Also, you can still upload pictures to your posts, use www.imageshack.us/

Thanks people, really motivating to know there are people out there supporting me. I live in a student house, and we lack basic things such as furniture, so things such as bathroom scales are non existent...lol. However most of my excess cash went on a bench and a fridge for my room (thieving bastards, te he!).

Approximately speaking, I beleive my stats are: Weight: 12 Stone,

Height: 5'9/10

Arms: about 15" i think

Will look into uploading those pics asap.

You can get bathroom scales for 3 quid from Argos and a tape measure would be a few pence.

...although being honest, i often find the mirror is a better judge.

This is a photo of me when I was at my biggest.....and fattest, with the mrs. Not a physique photo im afraid, im on the hunt for some of them. For half of last year I was clinically depressed, and lost a ton of weight. This is just before I got ill You can see the fat that has accumilated on my face from the uni lifestyle. This is what the cut is all about....

RE: First proper cut - 12 February 2007 22:36
Ok so coming to the end of my first day "on the cut" as it were. I ran for 25 minutes at around 60% max heart rate ( I know this isn't long enough, but I decided to ease myself into it; plus i am teaching a class tomorrow night and dont want to be too stiff to demonstrate). My diet is as follows; N.B. I am not new to lifting but I am new to strict dieting, so go easy on me, i am aware that it isnt perfect. On that note, any advice would be gratefully received:

Meal 1

• Thermobol
• Promax in water
• Muesli
• Milk 200ml approx

Meal 2

• 25g unsalted cashews
• 2x flaxseed oil caps (which roughly equates to 10ml approx)
• Multivitamin

Meal 3

• Thermobol
• 1x granary bread
• 5x large egg whites, 1x egg yolk, scrambled
• Water
• Small organic apple
• Small serving of enriched olive spread

Meal 4

• Promax in water

Meal 5

• Thermobol
• 250g (raw) rump steak; fried in extra low fat olive oil
• Five small new potatoes, boiled
• Generous portion of mixed veg; boiled from frozen

Meal 6

• Promax in water

P.S. Im afraid i was unable to keep track of time today (sorry Toxic!)

cheers

As for the thermobol, so far I am most impressed. Felt slightly dodgy for a short peroid: hot/cold, but then felt awesome; loads of energy and very postive mood. Obviously at this point I am unable to gauge the results, but in comparison to the hydroxycut (which gave me terrible side effects) I used to use, it is a great sup.

RE: First proper cut - 13 February 2007 04:42
Ok, in regard to my previous post, I have a change to make. It is 03:40am and I am still buzzing. Cant sleep for ****. My thoughts just keep going round and round and round......Its like my body's nakkered but my brain is staying awake.....not so pleased, i really wanted a fat burner I could rely on. Any advice?? should I stop taking it? or simply take less, or at different times? please help

cheers

RE: First proper cut - 13 February 2007 23:35
ok today went well. avoided the thermobol, because I actually wish to get to sleep before 5am. I shall use it now and again but no way 3 times a day. I worked out my shoulders, which felt great, and i didn't notice too much energy deficiency; perhaps a rep or two.

My diet:

Meal 1: 10.45am
• Promax in water
• muesli
• milk 200ml

Meal 2: 12.00pm
• 25g unsalted cashews
• 2x flaxseed oil caps
• Multivitamin

Meal 3 13:40pm
• 1x Granary bread, toasted
• Medium sized salad (about a portion)
• 5x huge egg whites (proper big bastards), fried in extra low fat olive oil
• 1x egg yolk
• Small serving of mayonnaise
• Even smaller serving of enriched olive spread
• 200ml smoothie (banana, strawberry, apple, raspberry, blackcurrant)

Meal 4 15.30pm

• Promax in water

Workout

Meal 5 18:45pm

• 250g whole wheat pasta
• Half a jar of Tesco pasta sauce
• Two slices of bacon fried in low calorie olive oil
• 200ml Smoothie
• Medium sized salad (about one portion).

Teaching class…Drank a bottle of Powerade

Meal 6 22:30

. Labrada's Pro v60 two scoops with milk

I ate a fair bit of pasta because I needed the energy for my class, and the powerade is a tradition of mine. All I had was lean braising steak for dinner with the pasta, which takes millenia to cook, so Im making up for it with a whopping 60g protein shake from good old lee :D

my workout today was as follows:

Seated dumbbell shoulder press.22kg three sets of 8,9 then 8 reps

Seated lateral raise 7kg three sets of 15reps

Standing front raise 10kg three sets of 12 reps

I think my body will be making some major adjustments to my new diet, and will post up pics on sundy evening. cheers

Good luck with everything
HIT with Rightyho

Pity we didn't vid Rack going from pink and healthy with a touch of brown to white, then green then that death grey colour reserved for the severely traumatised.
