Did the bin men bring the Wii?

Why do you know someone who threw one out? I see you found Elliots journal

NDB, I split my legs.

Quads: squats, leg press and leg extensions
Hamstrings : lunges, SLDL/good mornings, leg curls

Currently squating 85kg when on my own. Hoping to go for a big weight thiw weekend with hubbie spotting me (providing my back feels up to it)

I did...and you were right! Top stuff lol!

I have to say my confidence on squats isn't too good at the mo but I'm not beating myself up about it....just remembering 1,2,3, then 10 lol So went for 10's today at a low weight and topped out at 60kg.

And if you do yourself damage silly training this weekend I have already got the 'I told you so' dance prepared!...or is that next wknd?????

Shoulder seems ok but it was a little stiff yesterday when I went to scratch my back. I scratched it again later and something cracked and it no longer hurts to scratch my back . The Wii fit is just amazing. It's not heart racing for me at the moment but the reps and levels are opening up now (the more you use it new games appear) but for someone who doesn't do exercise as such it will be fabulous.

Just done another stint on the Wii fit. I think I'm addicted . I've unlocked an advance boxing game that virtually had me tripping over myself.

I'm trying to convince Neil that i need a wii (we not a wee but a wii) with the help of Jamie our son, but its not working, then the next thought was that the kids in the after school club would really like on and then i could play on it at work. will have to htink about it.

My training and cardio are going well after my panic at the weekend i feel like am right on track (hopefully) but you know me i'll be panicing about something else soon.

Going up to the scottish Nabba in couple of weeks to cheer Chrissie G on should be good and get more inspiration for the last 4 weeks before the show.

Thanks for your kind comments and advice Kitty it really does help when its from someone as good at it as you. Cheers

Kitty - agree that the Wii fit is fantastic fun!!! Don't really have the energy to do the boxing myself at the moment but hubby does it and absolutely wears himself out!

Bet you are looking forward to anniversary break!

Getting all excited about my break this weekend. Have also booked an Indian Head Massage too. We have 4 other treatments included and that MOT massage so should be a great pick me up. Tried to book more treatments but because we've left it so late there's not much room left for much else. Hubbie is also having a man's hand treatment.

My weight is dropping off and I feel quite guilty as I don't feel like I'm making much effort at all yet. Just plodding on the treadmill in a morning and eating 5 meals per day and often replacing one of those with a protein bar. I'm not complaining as I know it will get tougher as time goes on but at least I'm still easily achieving my target.

Trained back today and decided not to do deadlifts for a change and did loads of cable rowing work instead. Usually when I train my back I stretch my lats out a lot but today I didn't stretch the whole way out and tried to concentrate the movement to the inner part of my back as I feel I need a little more depth there.

I'm going to play on the Wii fit later as I've not done any today, it is very addictive I have to say
