Nice to 'see' you Hazel I've not got back on the Wii fit as I know it will record my weight gain . I did put one pound on one day last week through being 'on' and it asked me allsorts of reason why I might have put on but no mention of womens things . One of the yoga poses had me baffled as it was telling me to put more weight on the forward leg, this was virtually impossible and then I realised I was bending the wrong way altogether .

Had a great session with Elfintan this afternoon, blasted our arms and had a good laugh with space cadet who's in serious competition for face pulls (as in screwing up the face, not any form of exercise for the back) with me.

Aye another good session! SC is a star isn't she. Never mind funny faces, wait until she starts making the weird grunting noises

LOL

Thanks Caz, I've seen the City Inn and The Campanile which were both on the SECC website. Just wondering if Guy had sorted out a discount with the Crown Plaza. My hubbie stays in City Inn most nights in Birmingham, thought he might fancy a change

We're staying in an apartment in town (nowhere near the SECC I might add) just in front of Queen St Railway Station...

Hey up
Maybe your weight will suddenly drop. I never seem to get a steady weight loss. It always plateaus, rises a little then drops. It also seems to get very watery and squishy just before it goes - don't know if that's normal?
I'm huge at the mo'. My days were almost a week late and I look preggers! I was desperately trying to find a 'cover it up' top for the gym - but then all was revealed as soon as my hands were over shoulder height

Had a lovely day, piccies (yep in this heat .....was hubbies insistance as I'm dragging him to shows for the next 4 weekends). Then to the gym for chest and pottering about with abs and calves to avoid doing cardio (was too hot). As we got home I had a sudden inspiration to christen our BBQ that we had built 2 years ago and haven't used. So it was chicken, prawns and scallops for me with mushrooms, peppers and onions and hubbie the same with steak and sausages. I almost garotted myself on the chain fly screen on our french doors. I was walking out holding a tray and a chain from either side of me got wrapped round my neck and stuck there whilst a jar of pickled onions went flying on the floor

Yes they were very nice cooked like that. The prawns also had a lovely dry texture rather than spongy. Good thing was it meant I didn't do the cooking as BBQ is a thing men like to do isn't it . He didn't click until we were sat down eating

No it's not gas. It's a stone built one with a special made griddle that my Dad designed and had the apprentices make. The griddle fell into the brook at the bottom of the garden as knob end (sorry hubbie) left it propped up whilst the charcoal was warming through.....guess who had to climb down to fish it out

Sounds like you've been having a great time this weekend!! (Just jealous!!). Mind you, we may not have had a BBQ, but I did find hubby on his hands 'n' knees cleaning the oven when I got back from the gym yesterday!! Oo-er, shock horror! (Bonus - saves me the rotten job! ) I was banished from the kitchen until he'd finished that, the floor and the washing up! So whilst I wish he'd feel inclined to cook sometimes, I can settle for the exchange of oven and floor cleaning!! lol.

Hope you all have a fab time at the meet, and sounds like that shoulder of yours is on the mend too after the chest test!??

Wow, another domesticated hubbie, wonder where I went wrong.....though I wouldn't swap him for the world. The fun hasn't finished for the weekend yet. Going over to train with the BNBF gang and anyone else who joins us at the Olympic gym and then off for an afternoon of staring at almost naked, tanned and muscular chappies (and lassies of course)

Thanx for today and thanx for taking a look at my lack of abs...glad it didn't scare you I'll be doing those rope crunches with avengance

Seeing the differnce on you already since your last pics, cutting alcohol is working in your favour. I know it must be a welcomed pressure but seeing you get results that you achieve time and time again is so motivational
