Don't beat yourself up too much Kitty, it's self-defeating. You need to keep your thoughts positive. You aren't perfect - fact is, there's never been a perfect human being to walk this earth! Life is what you make it, always has been, always will be.
You aren't a twenty stone gut bucket that doesn't know how to get into shape. You have the perfect foundations, the knowldge to build your dreams on them and you know exactly what it's going to take because you've done it before. If you'd been on a months total blow-out-bender then you might have reason to be p...ed at yourself. In reality, you've probably done absoloutly no damage at all. Look at your avatar and put yourself back in the mindset you had when the picture was taken. Think of how positive and proud you felt of yourself - feeling that good is better than any junk food/drink tastes isn't it? You are going to do it again...'if' isn't in the equation, you are...and that's it

LOL Pete, one day I will take you up on that invite

Thanks NDB

Had a good day today apart from this pain in my groin . I was having difficult walking so thought I'd be rather foolish to train my legs . Not sure what it is but it's right behind the pubic bone and I've not done anything leg wise for over a week so whether I've made it worse doing abs/deadlifts/general lifting. It even hurts if I simply bend down. I may need to rest a few days and see. I had sussed out yesterday that I could use the stepper and cross trainer for CV so started on those this morning but had to even cut that short. At this rate the only CV I'll have left to do will be rowing and I hate that I might even have to forfeit my long walk tomorrow which I really look forward to.

To cap it all I have a strange rash. Started with a sweat rash but I seem to have that under control but this strange amost tiny blisters have spread across my chest. I feel a right hyochondriac at the moment

Saying that, positive feelings for today as I have finished the statistics assignment so that's out of my head. Last night I found myself waking up every hour talking about correlation coefficients and Anova etc

Diet's gone well today

Wake, scoop whey and glutamine

CV

9.45 25g oats/raisins/whey

12.00 salmon, 90g cooked rice and spinach

3.00 2 rice cakes with small tub cottage cheese

5.30 scoop whey and raisins (wasn't hungry)

8.30 prawns, scallops, broccoli and cauli (would have eaten sooner but was stuck on telephone). Thought I'd leave out the carbs at this one with not having done additional CV

Kaz, I'm terrible for going the docs but I promise if it doesn't get any better.

flick, I have my oats, raisins and whey all in a bowl with cold water added, so rather than use milk, the whey acts in it's place. It's amazing what you get used to. I even craved dried oats last year pre comp

What do you mean I'll waste away.....that's the point and I'm eating plenty don't get me wrong though the low carbs did play havoc with me at 3.30am this morning

I managed my walk today which was good

Diet has been ok.

Brekkie 25g each whey, oats and raisins

Lunch Chicken & veg curry and basmati rice

As I was out 'shopping' with my Mum and ran her home I didn;t get to eat again until 6.00pm. Prawns, scallops with loads of veg and 90g cooked rice again and just a little dash of garlic mayo

Had a very bad night sleep last night. I went to sleep fine and got woken up by the bloody cat chasing something, the dog had run downstairs to 'shout' at him so I followed. It felt really late but was only 12.15am and I'd only been asleep for approx 1hr but was in a real deep sleep. I went back to bed and couldn't get back over so I ended up watching 3hrs of stuff I'd taped on Sky+ . No wonder I didn't get up until 8.15am .

I'm going to have a rest from weights again tomorrow but hope to be able to do two lots of CV

You need to lock your catflap at night.....with the cat on the OUTSIDE

If you're interested, I've posted up the last routine I was doing before I started my descent into lard valley Be interesting to hear what you think of it. Just posting it up made me feel really motivated to get back to that level. I'm away down in Sheffield from tomorrow until Tuesday so I'll not be doing a great deal - appart from some cardio and STICKING TO EATING CLEAN

Make sure you keep up your intake - fire that metabolism and don't let any precious muscle waste away

Ta for the oats tip I reckon I could hack it with some raisins in...

Sleep issue sounds awful, I can't function unless I've had around 8 hrs...

Sleep issues again . Went to sleep at 11pm. Woke at 2.45am and didn't get back over until after 5.30am. I was watching Desperate Housewives at 4am

Needless to say I didn't get up until 9am. Didn't go gym as suggested but did my CV on the treadmill.....groin pain not bad so relaxing the weights seems to be working a little.

Well done Yuong Lady!

I know what you mean about craving oats, I have been known to eat them raw when cravings have taken hold

Cheers peeps! Morning CV was quite pleasant knowing that I'd lost 3lbs and the extra. I'm going to up my rice slightly at lunchtime as I don't want to lose it too quick so I'm adding an extra 30g. I have been feeling a little low on blood sugar for the last couple of days late afternoon so I think the extra rice should help here. As long as I lose 2lb/week I'll be on track.

Hi there kitty, thought I'd quickly stop by and see how it's all going.

I'm following a low carb, zero junk cutting diet myself for the first time in, well, lets just say for the first time lol so I know first hand the focus and discipline thats required and I can see you've managed to put in quite a gutsy performance thus far.

Soooo, keep it up, I'll race you to the top

Osagi
