Stupid Bugger today as i came out of the shower and out of curiosity stood on the scales and it read 190 lbs!!, ive been watching my intake and and on the go for 14 hrs a day is good cardio but im thinking it could be water retention from the creatine and if not my diet needs serious revision.

I know wht you mean - its hard to schedule time for it.

I get up an hour earlier to do it, so does my other half [she now gets up at 5:30!!!!] Its all worth it as she has lost 5lbs in the last couple of weeks - not that she needs to IMO.

Keep it up and dont let it get you - your doing great mate.

The one thing i noticed last gym session was im starting to look flateven though my wife says i dont, but i just keep hammering away.

Really hammered pecs and biceps last night and came out with arms feling really tight which really pleased me, since i put my carbs up slightly i feel better so thanks Toxic and im taking in more water ( six litres a day). After four months on the workout im doing i need to look at other options as i feel im plateauing and need to shock but e,ll wait and see.

Delts and Triceps today, I dont know why but i was getting an incredible pump today maybe i was hitting the muscle a slightly different way but it felt good still got a funny feeling in my Triceps at the moment. Back into my diet properly and thanks to TT for hitting me a kick in the behind as i badly needed one now i look at sweet things and say " get thee behind me Satan" actually my heads back into it. Well this time ive taken on the mad mission im going for the 50,s class at Mr. Scotland in three years so its time to get head really in gear, ive had some good advice from people and im really grateful.

Finding my cut so much easier that i may see my abs in november for my birthday! lol, im starting to notice veins showing up on my arms which is a thing ive never had happen in my life. I feel like im burning at a greater rate these days maybe its chasing the kids all over the place as well as my normal cardio, still feel i need to work my back and lats more but that could be just me. On a good note got a new PB today in bent over rows at 140lbs 4 sets of 6 reps so feel pretty good.

Thought for the Day....."The only person that stops you is yourself". The fact that ive decided to go for a comp even if its in three years has made me re-evaluate how i need to go about this, so i spoke to the top BBer in the gym and he gave me good solid advice so now im pushing more weight and using more isolation exercises but this is only the beginning of a long & arduos road. that doesnt mean it cant be fun, i had a guy who weighs about ten stone soaking wet telling me that he had been up at 15-16 stone but now he just wanted to be toned ( each to their own ) but as i was doing bicep curls which i found a buzz today i decided to go for a PB but my mate asked what weight i said 50k and instead of putting small plates on he stuck 2 oly plates on which i lifted for 6 reps so it felt good and must have looked insane.

My week is getting better and better my weight is down to 183 so only 3 lbs to go, the only thing thats bothering me is that im still using the legpress instead of squats because of my left knee but hopefully the rest will help. Ineed to up my salad days more but thats because im enjoying them, does thismake me a masochist?.

RE: Thread in general today, ive listened to my older brother for years telling me i cant do anything right, youll never amount to anything till it got to the stage i was happy to move away from the family. well its now 2007 and things go reasonably well apart from him and his wife being a pain, i call her Hyacinth Bucket because she,s a cut above or likes to think so, For a while their all i heard was "you need to stop training because you never finish anything, and besides you,ll end up taking drugs" this pi**** me off so i sat down one night and rearranged my entire diet and also my workout and cardio. Went to my parents and got the " My God you look great!" and pulled to the one side later by big bruv and asked if i could put a diet and exercise plan together for him and the wife, could have laughed in his face but that would have taken me down to their level...I hate when people classify you when they dont know you or think they are superior to you, he,s my brother but as far as im concerned he,s a total stranger to me and has been for years.

With the family away for the last ten days its been very quiet so ive been out getting things done, My workouts seem to be going by in the blink of an eye and that feels really weird as i enjoy the atmosphere of the gym. The gym has finally decided to get an inverted leg press and invest in some more weights for the Pit so the more the merrier, im finding that ive seem to have got into my deadlifts these days and hitting a new PB ( 110k, 4 sets x 6 reps) so im feeling more confident about certain areas of my body which i need to pay more attention to. All good things come to those who wait...or those who take them.

The silence in the house is murder as the family are down south visiting but its great for motovating to get out earlier to the gym. Working chest and Bi,s and im noticing that my weights are going up steadily so i must be doing something right, eating clean full time mostly chicken, brocolli and other veg & fruit, I must say thanks to Toxic for "ushering " me on the right road and giving me the straight answers i required as ive learned from him that if you cant face the truth, dont ask. It has been suggested to me thatit may be better for me to go for the natural BB comps as i wont consider taking gear so that may be the road i have to take.

Now back to normal as the family are back, btu the noise is deafening. now down to 178 lbs and staring to look like i do train and not that i couch potato all the time. I dont seem to have lost a lot of mass but that only may be that i didnt have much to start with!, my diet is finally under control and im eating clean and feeling the benefit of it but that should have been done a while back. My weights are still rising with another PB 25k DB press at 3 sets of 6 reps, so feeling very good at the moment.

Biceps and chest today and my workouts are going really smoothly at the moment with my weights increasing at a steady rate with no hiccups on the way. However its my weight that seems to have my attention at the moment, im now down to 179 lbs but i still have fat on my sides and stomach so ive increased cardio to three 45 min sessions and starting working my Abs more so i maybe burn more off as im wondering if i may have to go to 170 lbs to finally get my BF% down. ( finally ordered a set of calipers, £10.00) so i may get to see what my real BF% is.
