Was really looking forward to training today and started with Squats super setting with Leg Presses, but after the second set i felt really drained and crappy but i pushed on through the rest of the workout and a couple of times after pushing hard i felt sick. The weird thing was it started to ease off towards the end of the session and i could up my weight for Calf Raises ( now 200lbs, 3 sets of 8 reps ) but this has me wondering because i had eaten a breakfast and eaten an hour before training but felt about normal having my PWO shake, could i have eaten closer to going to the gym or have i messed something up in my diet.

Abs & cardio today which i always seem to enjoy but maybe im just a sick person.. who knows, The way i felt yesterday still has me thinking but there could be any number of reasons for it happening but i was wondering if i ate a protein bar about 30 mins before i work out if this may help. On a lighter note im starting to see positive rewards from my cut as the wife said my jeans were looking a bit "baggy"so i tried 36-34 fell off, 34-32 which also fell off and eventually ended up with a pair of 32-30 which is fantastic as just before i started training i was in 38" jeans so im feeling quite pleased about this.

Just finished Traps and Back, im feeling really positive at this period of what i want to do and i can see that i still have a long way to go but the only person that will get me there is myself. Today managed two new PB,s . 60kg for 6 reps on Deads & 40k DB,s for 3 reps on shrugs, not high weights i know but im pleased with it as its progression at a rate that will acheive my next level. Weight at 177lbs and i think thats light enough as im saying " just another 2-3 lbs " but ill stay where i am and eat sensibly.

Im getting no help from creatine mono at the moment but its time to have a break so we,ll see in two weeks, still at 178 lbs but looking to getting back to about 180 lbs.

Pecs & Biceps today and the workout was just amazing! in that it all came together and the reps and the sets went as smooth as silk with me getting a new PB ( Bicep Curls 55K for 2 reps ). My weight seems to have levelled off at 179 lbs and im quite happy with that so all seems to be going well in the Gym and in my life, this is the best condition ive been in both mentally & physically for years and im loving every minute of it and the challenge in the gym is me against that bar and plates and i wont be beaten.

Strange day, I wonder if anyone ever had this as my reps at the beginning where hard but it got easier as i got into the workout, im convinced that a lot of this was in my head and holding me back. Finding my diet a bit run of the mill at the moment but i suppose all dietary requirements can get a bit tedious, maybe i need to add some variety in the carb and veg so we,ll wait and see.

Thats it im officially freaked.. im enjoying Cardio!. Im doing cardio 3 times a week for 30 mins, 20 mins walking and 10 mins running but i actually enjoyed it today apart from that i felt kinda drained on my leg sets so im just wondering if that the creatine leaving my system or my body decided to have a day off and just didnt tell me. My weight is back up to 181 lbs but im keeping an eye on it as it should drop with the creatine at an end.

Feeling really good at the moment as training is going well with no holdups or injuries to deal with, my weights are still increasing but slowier than before the cut began but im still pleased with the way things are going even though my weight has come back up slightly. Im still on schedule with hopefully trying to compete in three years so far so good, ill keep my weight down over the summer and start bulking again in three months but all in all its going the way i wanted so i cant complain.

Legs today and i found this workout really fast maybe because ive started using single leg presses and calf raises. Cardio is 3x 45 mins with 20 mins brisk walking & 25 mins running and im hammering it hard, ive got a mate who,s going for TA selection so my cardio is running with him. I need to run harder & faster to stay with him but im enjoying it.

Havent been keeping up with my journal as i should but its just been a busy time with the girls being on holiday. My workout are progessing at a steady rate and speaking to mate yeasterday who,s a class 1 heavyweight who gives me some sound advice and criticism he said that my progress was steady and that my growth was in line with what i had planned for the first year, im having a 4 week break from all supplements just to give my body a rest and staying with my 3x time weekly cardio and my diet is still within my limits even though i cheated on Sunday when the in-laws took us out for lunch so i had a mad meal and enjoyed every bit! but back to normal now and looking for ward to the gym tomorrow.

Ever had one of those days when you walk into the gym and everything just clicks?. I did today & it was fantastic, the routine ( Back & Traps ) went so smoothly and the weights felt like they were made of air, my focus was second to none and when doing deads i whacked on three plates each side and rammed it for 3 reps and as the weight was a new PB for me this was just the icing on the cake. I know days like these are few & far between but Damn it was good.

Im working legs with single exercises as i feel better doing this after some advice from a freind as i cant squat so using the leg press is the only thing i can do. Cardio seems to be going well but i still feel guilty about liking it!, all in all i seem to be having a good month as my weights seem to be going up steadily and im feeling good.

In the gym im beginning to..stagnate is the only word i can think of to describe it, i worked tri,s & delts today and even though i lifting heavier im cruising through the workout and feel like i havent properly trained and ive gained nothing so to say its frustrating is an understatement so ive decided to sit down and put some research into putting a complete new regime to begin in a weeks time and have a look at my weaknesses 7 srengths and work in the better parts of what ive learned.I think is time to move to a more specific workout.

Started a full new routine yesterday with advice from one of the guys in the gym whose Class 1, im now going low reps ( 6-8 ) and going heavy on weight with alternating exercises within the routines. Also been supps free for over a week and i must admit i m feeling good about the new start and i need to start hammering to get definition and start researching for starting a new bulk at the end of September.

I finally dropped into a trap today and i took my wife to show me that im taking things way too far about my weight in that if i put 3-4 lbs im flying into a mad cardio panic and cutting back on my carbs, ive got the Scots Guards gathering at Glamis Castle in 4 weeks and i want to be in shape but i also want to enjoy the event with my family maybe im just getting fubar,d about all of this but i just needed a rant to myself.

Rotating exercises in my routine for chest and biceps for second week, 1. Incline DB Press 3sets x 8 reps ( 25 k ), Incline DB Flyes 2 sets x 10 reps ( 15 k ), Bench Press 3 Sets x 20, 15 , 10 reps at 50k , 40 k , 30 k ,. At the moment my weight is 188 lbs and i start a new bulk in 6 weeks so at the moment after my issues with weight im not going to panic over my increase so the research starts today for dietary requirements and routines to develop along with my bulk.

Good workout on triceps and delts as im feeling the difference with the new exercises and weight as even after 10 mins warmup i still felt a little sore on my first set of DB presses but it eased off as i progressed and getting a good pump when i finish off with one arm cable extensions ive also cut the amount of exercises down to three sets of 6 reps with heavier weight to give my muscles a shock. My cardio is 3x 20 mins at a brisk pace as i felt i was doing too much running.

Legs & Abs today with exercises seeming to slip by in an instant and it was all over in 30 mins with leg presses 3 sets x 8 reps 150k, and ive went blank on all the others but it seems i worked out in a haze and it seemed so easy and i felt it should have given me something more but i could be wrong or i could just be having an off day.

Working Pecs and Biceps today and the new routine seems to be working well as it could be that alternating exercises is helping because it may be shocking the muscle in different ways. Ive been talking to Les Aitken who is class 1 winner at Mr.Scotland 07 and a former overall winner in 05 who,s advised me to stick with compound exercises and alternate with heacy weights and low reps which i have been doing and noticed the benefit straight away with certain exercises where the weight has risen ( Incline DB press, 25k 3x8 reps ) so im feeling good and looking into research for my bulk which starts in a few weeks.
