Stepped on the scales today and at the moment ive suddenly went to 190lbs and im trying to keep my weight down cause we,ve got the Scots Guards gathering at Glamis Castle in two weeks so ive got to look good and i wouldnt let the wife down. Still doing cardio 3 times a week for 25 mins maybe i should thrown another session for the remaining fortnight and streamline my diet down, at the moment still going well with low reps , heavy weights.

Tri,s & delts and i was informed today by my wife that my left arm is significantly smaller than my right which played games with my head but hey ho. Still using low rep high weight and finding it great cause im pushing a good weight with better form and more strength but thats my opinion such as it is, so here,s some of my routine DB Presses 3x6 (25k ) Rope Pressdowns 1x 12 ( 55k ), 1x10 ( 50k ), To failure ( 40k ). Rope kickbacks 3x10 (20k ) alternately using One Arm Cable Crossovers 3x8 (25k), Dips 3x10.

Back to the basics as in every workout at the moment as i admit the low reps, high weight thing seems to be working for me so keep on and let,s see where i get in the next few months. Ive upped my cardio at the moment cause this weekend im off to enjoy myself up at Glamis Castle for four days so gotta look good!, but feeling good about training and life in general.

As you may notice ive had to change my measurements as i seem to have lost an inch off my arms so im now getting smaller instead of bigger.

At this time im about to start bulking and looking to add some decent mass over the next few months, my workout has been going through a radical change thanks to the help im getting from guys at the gym and if you,ve been reading my journal you know my workouts comprises of low reps, heavy weight with alternating exercises which has made my strength gains are good. So im researching my bulk and looking into a AAS cycle sometime later next year but this is a long way down the road.

Found myself having a real problem with motovation over the last couple of days and its probaly cause its legs day and cardio and Abs the next session which i can say i dont really enjoy at this moment so you just struggle through and continue on. As of today 19.09.07 i weigh in at 188 lbs and i plan to bulk over the next few months with my target weight to be 220 lbs, ive almost got all of my diet sorted and as soon as ive fine tuned at ill post it up for everyone to criticise so thats all for today. Stay keen and eat clean

Amazing session today it was so different from the last session in that i felt up & ready for anything and i went for it big time and as it was Tri,s and Delts the whole thing felt smooth and it seems with little or no effort and with two new PB,s it was a great day, roll on Saturday!.

Is it just me or do are you supposed to feel guilty when you start eating more?, im eating more chicken and oily fish and upped my rice and pasta for carbs but still feels kinda strange eating so often. I feel i need to work this hard this time and get some results but i dont feel negative about it just more getting that first step going and then getting into the routine where it feels right.

Started bulking last Monday and im feeling a lot more motivated and ready to put the work in that it entails, im using 220 lbs as a target weight to see if that weight feels good on me and then ill decide if i want to move the target up as i progress. Im feeling strong and focused when im training so things have started off pretty well, i have to say that the advice from guys like Les Aitken and others has been great but im always willing to listen to good advice so barring any mishaps this will be the beginning of the next phase.

Remember those mishaps i was talking about? well my charming daughter has me choked up with the cold so i couldnt get to the gym today and i must admit its bothering me quite so hopefully it will only last a few days and i can get back on track with what im planning. This is just one of those things that you deal with and dont let get to you.

Back training as of Monday and things seem to be running ok so fingers crossed no more bugs, Im still doing cardio twice weekly cause i feel that if i give it up entirely that ill feel that im not keeping a reasonable level of fitness in my training also rotating my exercises within my programme to keep shocking the muscle and to give my self some variety from day to day. Ordered Oatmeal powder (5kg) to add to my shakes to give me more carbs and make it a bit easier for my stomach to accept the level of food that going in without feeling nauseous but i know it will take time

After taking some solid advice which come about over a chance comment my workout are now on a 6x6 format which i tried today for the first time and i must say i did feel the difference as what had been ocuring was even after increasing my weights i didnt feel i was pusshing myself hard enough as the next post workout day i felt like i hadnt worked out, no tightness, DOMS or anything so i spoke to some of the guys and researched online so hopefully ill notice some difference over the next few months. Apart from that i feel fat at the moment because im starting to put on weight but hopefully feeling like this will pass.

Felt very focused today but that could be because the family are away for the weekend and im trying to keep my mind off it, still eating very clean i.e chicken, lean red meat oily fish ( fresh sardines). carbs are mostly rice, pasta and some bread although im eating white rather than wholemeal with the occasional baked tattie thrown in and my veg intake has always been high anyway and 3 protein shakes per day help. Im still in the first stage of this new regime so im still finding out how my body,s adapting to it but i must say i like it as it seems to agree with me but we,ll have to wait and she if i make any gains.

OK, Woke up this morning to that sore tightness in your muscles when the previous workout was an absolute belter and beleive me it was! so ive finally got a routine to kick start my muscle growth and my diet is finally getting on line so 220 lbs will now be gained in the safe & happy fact that i may get even bigger!.

Had a great workout but i had to work hard to stay focused as my wife is f*****g with my head as an old friend has turned up asking for her help and she texts all the time and my wife is always visiting but i know how she treats people but im caught between the rock & the hard place so ive taken a massive step back and ive made the decision that all that matters are my daughters and reaching this has suddenly stepped up 200% and nothing isnt getting in front of me anymore.

Offcially fried my legs on Tuesday as im now walking around like a duck needing a ****e but apart from that ill live. Tri,s & delts today so when working them im trying to up the weight gradually so im progressing at a steady rate, diet seems to be agreeing with me at the moment as im finding mixing the whey & oats taste,s really good but still trying to gain steadily.
