I clock in at just over 5ft 7" so im officially a shortarse!, Back routine today and im trying to start deads again but somewhere in the back of my mind im still a bit cagey about my knee which has been working great but i dont want to knacker it up again and be hobbling about in a knee brace for another week so this will take time to see how far i can go but im not turning this into a macho BS session to see if i can go heavy on them as ive worked well over the last few months without deadlifting. Apart from that life is good and i cant get to the gym quick enough which must be the ego booster from posting those pics up thanks for the comments and if you go back and see something i neeed to work on get on here and tell me.

I too am a 5' 7" shortarse
Best to keep off the deads if they're a risk mate, better to train without them than not at all.
I did some light ones at the weekend but this was more of a fat burner than anything else, my back is dodgy at the best of times so I'm not risking it for now.

Just got a mental picture of us all doing the ID scene from the usual suspects and all you can see is the top of the hair and a voice saying "Can you use the step please"LOL

Chest today and im thinking i made the right decision to train one bodypart per session even though at the moment my chest feels like someone has been jumping on it with steel toecap boots!. Still havent been near a set of scales as im scared ****less what they would show, Cardio 2x45mins as this is the only times i can get to stay on cardio for a good period of time still taking in high protein and reasonable level of carbs so i realy have no idea how much weight ive lost but ill not be weighing myself anytime soon.

Just the progress pics wouldnt come online something with me using the wrong code but the wife,s gonna sort it out for me. Anyway Traps today and training went really well and felt really strong and it showed in that at the end i thought maybe i hadnt done enough to justify leaving the gym!. Im finding i can really concentrate working one bodypart per session and i like the buzz im getting off it so this may last a month or i may just work with it for a wee while who knows?.

Barbell Shrugs..To Failure at 120,140,150 & 170kg. (86 reps)
DB Shrugs...4x10 at 30kg,3x15 at 35kg,2x12 at 40kg, 1x16 at 45kg.
Seated DB Shrugs..Same weights and rep ranges as above.
Widegip Barbell Rowing...To Failure at 60,70 & 75kg (70 reps)

Been speaking to some people who,ve put me straight about where ive been going wrong or generally not commiting myself a 100% or kidding myself that i have. Im going to give my diet a MAJOR overhaul and sit down and ask myself how much harder i can push myself and where i want to be physique wise in 6 months, i thought id stepped things up a notch but i need to go higher and harder.

Feeling better mate, the funny thing is this diet wasnt hard to get into whereas any others i tried i just messed around with an moved on to the next thing that caught my eye. But this is a long term plan (14 weeks) with a target in front of me and the only thing i came off for was 2 slices of my 3 year olds birthday cake so doing not too bad and ive got to the stage thatim not wanting anything that isnt on the diet sheet.
