Mark,

Cheers for the reply, i was thinking chest press and bench were pretty similar , im going to go whole heartedly on benches from now on the smith to start with then move on to the free weights , i think im going to throw some pullovers in as well.

i used the smith for squats because it was only the second time i had done weighted squats, i think my form was out because i could feel it in my right knee today (tried to keep my knees behind the end of my feet throughout though), im just going to work on them unweighted on a non leg day to get form perfect.

My knees go funny if I do squats in the smith too - just do it with a free weight bar to practise with no plates on - I think if you "learn" the movement in the smith machine, you might learn it wrong, they really are quite different, I find.

Cheers for the feedback lads, i think its also because im coming from being overweight and as such would have more bodyfat around my abdominal area and this is just the stuubern fat leftover. Also it could be because my abs are pretty untrained; need to read up on abs exercises.

As far as diet goes again i didnt get anyting recorded but i learned how to dry fry chicken breasts and i am enjoying these, ive eaten fairly well all week except for tuesday night, i had a big meeting the next day and had a lot to drink before the game, so at half time, in an attempt to sober myself up i ate a kitkat chinky lion bar + big bag of fruit pastells not good.

Ive been having MRPs for my second meal of the day, when these are gone i am going to have chicken here and keep tuna w/almods for dinner.

Also i have plans to start doing cardio 3 days during the week before work and after breakfast and on a saturday or sunday morning on empty.

Just found yesterdays workout details
21/04/07 Back and Biceps

Lat Pulldown
1 x 15 45kg
1 x 12 60kg
1 x 10 67kg
1 x 8 75kg

Preacher Curl (machine)
1 x 15 15kg
1 x 10 25kg
1 x 7 30kg
1 x 10 25kg

EZ Curls
1 x 6 30 kg
1 x 8 27kg

Low Pulley Row
1 x 15 37.5kg
1 x 12 45kg
1 x 8 52.5kg

Lat Pushdown
1 x 15 20kg
2 x 10 40kg

Cable 21s
15kg x 1

Todays Diet

6:30 4 weetabix skimmed milk 250ml fruit smoothie

9:30 3/4 Mrp

12:00 Bottle of Diet Coke and Subway Sandwhich packet of crisp (cheat meal for the week)

3:00 rest of mrp

4:00 2 weetabix

4:45 train

AFter training whey in water lucozade

7:00 1 1/2 Chicken Breast with a bit of cajun/chilli herbs, banana, fruit smoothie

9:00 quark

10:00 2 weetabix

I understand this was quite a shocking day for a diet, i dont really like crisp or subway but i ate it because it was the only thing available in a seminar, next time i will prepare some food, i also understand the need for protein after waking and that subway and crisp arent the most wholesome of foods.

Could be a lot worse mate IMO..

eating something is better than nothing IMO..

When you get in a routine and organise your time to prepare food the night

before you'll be sorted IMO...

p.s. where are the eggs in your diet ??

No worries.. I have some good ideas... sometimes

Scrambled eggs are an easy way to eat them mate..

Or omlettes too...

I'm having 7 whites and 2 yolks with my dinner at the minute

Lovely stuff...

I find I grow easier from eggs for some reason
