Glad you left your ego at home. Those weights aint bad at all. Must admitt im not about how much you can bench , just do what you gotta do to break em down and stimulate some growth. Im more about good form...most of us girlies are, we have less injuries too
Ilke the last pasta picture BTW

I used to love going into the gym and bang out some poundage - like all the rugby boys I used to hang with. Thye didnt look like BB's - neither do I! So I thought bugger it im going to try form. Its so much harder IMO as it takes alot of mental pressure to do - and can be excruciating getting the last few out. I was almost sick during my last back workout [see entry!!]

Cheers for the link BTW - I havent read that. Although its going to be a lunch hour jobbie!

The pasta dish tates better than it looks! I've just eaten one!

Bloody love that article!

quote:

If you are serious about experiencing extreme intensity, extreme pain and eventually extreme results, give ZMR's a try. You will have to check your ego at the door and get comfortable with the idea of 100-200lbs. less with your bench but having it look and feel 100-200 times more difficult. And for those who think that you will not get strong this way understand this??You are only as strong as your weakest link??.Strengthen the weakest link and you strengthen the entire chain. After a few months you will be back up to the same poundage you were using before, except rather than throwing the weight off your chest to impress the local fitness beauty doing lunges in the corner, you will be taking a slow, solitary and unbearably excruciating dance with the Demon of Pain??.and trust me?he don't give a **** what you can bench.

Jab site doesnt even slightly feel like it has been jabbed! Even when i press hard on it! Strange

Cardio spot on - although I am considering dropping doing it everyday [might be too much as I seem to be getting leaner!]

Diet spot on! although just had a glass of red wine with my steak!

Legs + Calves

Squats = 1 x warm up + 4 x 10.
Close Lunges = 4 x 12
Good Mornings = 4 x 8

Calf Raises = 4 x 12 [drop setted to failure]

I wont be able to walk tomorrow!!!

Yeah it's a good article, gets straight to the point a training partner is essential though. I think my husband willing to put me through my paces but im not much help to him when it comes to his negatives on Bench press Staff at our gym aint too clued up on spotting....prehaps he should give that seminar on 'spotting' in our gym

Good last set of pics BTW. Try to keep the poses similar so it's easier to do like for like comparisons. Go easy on the wine this wk-end....have a good one

Only had the one glass - have to be really carefull due to my oral kickstart.

I think I will do all m comparisons like the last pic I took from now on.

Training to failure and beyond is a fantastic way to get the fibres! It does however make you feel very light headed and sometimes nauseous on big compound movements for back, legs, etc.

Experimented with rice cakes and cottage cheese earlier on .... I quie like it now! Hated it last time I tried it

Cardio went good today. So did the diet... strange as its a Saturday!

Im thinking about cutting the cardio from everyday to every other day as I have weighed myself and I have put on no weight since last time - my diet is nailed so I think it may be the cardio and intense weight training eating my calories away. Dont think I could possibley eat anymore!!!!

Any advice is welcome!

PS. When I was doing m DB goodmornings yesterday I accidentally crushed 'little chrismac' in the process [well the skin] and its a little poorly today

Sunday

Cardio = 30 mins in target HZ

Diet = spot on subsidised one of my tuna meals for chicken and broccoli.

Today

Weigh in at 12st 5lbs - more gain! [just when i said I wasnt gaining any weight!] I also feel more leaner than before I started.

Shoulders:-

Dumbell Seated [without back rest] Military Press = 10/8/8/8 then drop setted each set with 50% weight until failure 8/8/8/7

Upright Rows = 9/8/8/8 then drop setted each set with 50% weight until failure 8/8/6/6

Front Raises = 12/12

Side Raises = 12/12

Shrugs = 12/12/12

Shoulders are absolutely blitzed - im getting more vascular when pumped - and less tired towards the end of my workout. I can really let the aggression out on each and every rep!

I have also discovered COTTAGE CHEESE!!!! Ive added it as an extra meal after my steak meal and before my little protein shake meal before bed [more calories!!!] I have it with rice cakes. Yum!

Just had my first jab of week 3 too - painless as usual

lol - not had pumps like this for a very long time!

I have always trained heavy 5 x 5, or 4 x 10/12 - but felt like I wasnt getting anywhere after a while.

Training like this to failure/dropsets/supersets with good form has hit my body hard and good - and it seems to be working well. I am really feeling shoulders today, normally it wouldnt really feel like I trained the day before.

Try it - you may sick but it will be worth it!

hi mate are you getting any sides of the dbol? Back pumps etc... not long now for you test to start kicking in. I see you have changed your training, i love pushing the muscle beyond failure but it does help if you have got a good spotter. Do you train alone or with someone else.

If your leaning up and your trying to bulk eat more you gotta make the most of your cycle but if you happy with your gains then thats all that matters. Are you pleased with how its all going?

I certainly felt the pain tonight! Back is a killer workout IMO so intense with the drop sets on rows.

Cardio = check.

Diet = check

Back and Bi's:-

Wide Grip Pull Ups - 10/10/10/8
Close Grip Chins - `10/10/10/10 [felt really strong doing these tonight]
Bent Over One Arm DB Rows - 12/12/12/10 drop setted to 50% weight and repped to failure

Standing Alternate DB Arm Curl - 12/10/9
Standing DB Hammer Curls - 10/10/10

Bent over rows really make me fell like throwing chunks after my 3rd set - what a pump though

The gear is kicking in - got one or two spots on my back [small ones no boils] I know its the gear as I never get spots, but remember geting them on previous cycles. Oh well back to puberty!

Just noticed your post!

I am getting a slight bloat in the face [I always put water on the face/neck] even though I am drinking about 5litres a day. I also have one or two spots that have sprouted overnight[as above] not sure its the dbol or sus kicking in. I am taking Liv52 for the Dbol so hopefully my liver is fine. No gyno [havent had it with dbol or sus before] So apart from that no sides.

I train alone - so do not implement the 'train to failure' as outlined in the above article that cookie D posted - but I follow the same basis as it where when I absolutely cannot get another rep out and am stuck halfway up I drop the weights and immediately pickup the lighter one and continue unitl failure again [really painfull] Drop sets basically. I also am trying supersets on chest - which have hit the fibres hard compared to before!

Regarding the leaning up bit - I have added an extra meal in between my steak/chicken evening meal and my protein shake before bed - its 3 x rice cakes with huge dollops of cottage cheese on them. I think this has upped my cal intake OK and will see if this does the job.

I think form this week onwards I should see some great gains now that my diet has been nailed, workouts have changed, and the sus should be working its wonders.
