The main difference is that you can see exactly what you are training - when pumped the muscle trained looks awesome when leaner.

I agree completely with that, one of the main attractions for me. Those pictures from your first cycle, how much did your strength go up and did it drop massively post PCT? What do you put keeping the weight post PCT down to Chris?

Any photo updates soon?

Eddie, a long wait until Tuesday mate! Doh!

Hi CJW - Strength went up alot!!!! It did go down after PCT but not the weights just about 2-3 reps on the last working set [IIRC]. TBH IMO PCT is a mind game - its blown out of proportion on the forums, get a decent PCT protocol and just ride it out.

As for keeping the weight? I think I used Proviron aswell so I kept the water down. When you come off cycle yo will shed alot of sh1t [water], if you havent been taking anti e's... so alot of peoples losses will be down to the water being lost. If you keep your water down in cycle, and obtain some decent dry gains, do a decent PCT and keep training and diet the same, there is no real reason you should loose much LBM. All IMO/IME of course!

As for pics - I am sure I wil get some up soon.

All seems to be going well despite your injuries Chris! You seem to be the same as me, you might get injured, but train around the problem. Poor Eddie, he can't wait to a have a play with his goodies!

Sorry to hear about the shoulder woes mate.
They are a b@stard they really are. I am dead set on gaining size on my delts but feel as though I am playing with fire every time I up the weight on the lateral raises.
Having said that...I am still only doing 15kg
Have dropped the dumbbell pressing too as didn't like the process of getting anything heavier than 70lb into place. So all my overhead pressing is done on the Smith.

Heal quick.

Your body, your mind, the only person you have to prove anything to is yourself mate. [sound a bit like OG there!]

Thanks mate.

It was the lat raises that caused it, I have been going light with high reps all year to finish off my shoulder session. Last summer I was raising 25kg DB's with no problem at all, like you I now do 15kgs for the pump, but I went upto 20kg's and my tendon gave up! Strange as it didnt hurt at all when in session, it was the day later.

Good news is that I am fully dom'd after yesterday's high volume chest session, and my shoulder injury seems to have dissapeared!

So tomorrows shoulder session is still on.

It will be high volume and lower weights though, not looking forward to the lactic pain!

I am all cardio'd at the moment so now I am going to eat a 16oz Sirloin followed by a Cadburys Flake egg! I love cheat days!

It was enjoyed mate!

I am so PISSED OFF!

Training went really well all week, intensity was up, I felt I was making great progress especially with my shoulder supposedly healed.

My last training day was Thursday, and only trained arms - but last night before bed my shoulder was playing up again. Right in the joint!

Today was supposed to be Chest but I had to do back instead as BB Press was too painful. Looks like I might have to give it some rest again.

I HATE injuries!

I wish it was muscular pain but it seems like its in the joint, maybe the tendon?

Just bought loads of Cod liver oil and Glucosamine to help me through it!

Shoulder was not so bad this morning, so proceeded with a light weight, high rep, intensity workout. I dropped down to 90kgs on flat and incline for 12-20 reps per set.

Feeling much better now that I have accomplished a chest workout!

I am going to train light on chest and shoulders from now on in, until my shoulder has fixed its niggles.

This week has been good, since hammering in all sorts of oils and pills my shoulder has seemed to get better. Although I am not going to so its fixed yet!

My training sessions are going awesome, really am loving it.

Yesterday I was back on Close Grip BB Bench Press as my shoulder felt like it could take it and was back pushing out 6 x 110kgs. My tri's are blitzed today! lol

Good stuff Chris.

Seems as though there is a dicky shoulder lurgy going round. I've got one and then last night was spotting someone who reckons he has as well. As he was pressing 120kg on incline with a sort of close grip, I did wonder just exactly how bad his alleged bad shoulder could be

sounds like a rotator cuff injury/impingement... i had a really bad shoulder injury last year and couldnt hit delts for 8 months, got so bad at one stage it was affecting my sleep... it still comes back everytime i hit delts but i try and push through the pain, seems to be working as they only hurt when im training them now.
Although i do look like a dribbling wreck whos just seen a ghost when ive finished the session.

other than the injury, hows things? what are you cycling atm?

Jedi - That is suspect mate! I couldnt bench the bar last week so had to hit back instead! lol

Jay - Hi mate, That would be my idea of hell. Training is my passion and something has to be up for me to miss a session, so missing delts for 8 months must have been agony mate.

This injury has made me think twice about going too heavy on certain exercises because I cant afford to get injured!

My supplements have been hammered in larger doses, loads of glucosamine, fish oils, cod liver oils, as well as the usual have made me feel alot better now.

As for the cycle, I am currently doing Sustaplex 325, just dropped the Winny, but still taking Proviron to eliminate the bloat. I am looking alot fuller now ---> eventhough I have only increased my cals by around 300 ED in the week [from when I was cutting].

I am just going to see where things are taking me at the moment, I am lean bulking for the next few months, and will then attempt to get really dry for my hols then.
